Yup just got off the line with my dealer and he said I could order and I would need my xplan pin at time of delivery. Plenty of time. I have several dealerships lined up to call me when the order banks open that said they would not charge more than sticker for a GT.
Getting pretty excited...
Do you have to have your x-plan pin at time of order/deposit? Or when you actually purchase the car? I just signed up with MCA so it will be another 55 days before I get my pins. Wondering if I can order now tho...
Yeah '14s are going like hot cakes here in Texas. My friend just got a GT auto with a few options for 25.5k. We are active duty military tho so we get the usaa car buying service and military discount but still.
I loaded up a GT with auto, 301a, recaros, security/sensor pack, brembo pack...
The order sheet says specifically that the brembo brakes are manual only. Then it says again that the whole PP is not available with auto trans. (even said the same thing on the site builder that was up last night for a few hours. there are screen shots of that info in the thread about it)
And...
My main problem is the PP is the only way to get Brembos and Decent wheels on a base GT.
Just because I want an auto means I dont want the best brakes I can get from the factory and ugly/skinny 18" wheels? Its just silly.
Keep the PP manual but give us at least the same options as last year...
I am not that crazy about the PP. I do however think there should be a Brembo Brake package with better wheel options for the auto.
I understand what you are saying about the gears, scottpe, but I still think it should be an option we can get when we order the car.
Also the MY14 GT came...
I have sent tweets to Scott Monty https://twitter.com/ScottMonty he says he will forward concerns to Team Mustang.
I also addressed the same issues on the Ford Mustang official FB page. https://www.facebook.com/fordmustang
PP, brembo brake option, and 3.73 gears should be available on auto...
Auto GTs should at least get a Brembo brake option with the wheels from the PP or the 20" Machined as options as well. Maybe even a /gasp 3.73 gear option too instead of just 3.55.
The logic I dont understand is to give the auto paddle shifters, rev matching and give everyone line lock...
Had a manual for my last 2 mustangs and REALLY dont want a manual for a daily driver again. Ever. Plus the auto comes with all the fun stuff now. I am really looking forward to it. The PP is not worth driving a manual in traffic everyday.
Thanks for the replies. I may just go the easy route as...
Seems I finally found the answer to my own question.
In this thread there seems to be photos of nearly every single wheel option.

The standard GT wheels (646) aren't as bad as I thought from the terrible order...
So it seems the automatic GT comes standard with the 3.15 gears with an optional 3.55...
I cant get the Performance Pack on the automatic so I am stuck with those choices at order.
This car will be my daily driver and I will do some drag racing casually with co-workers just for fun and...
Got a reply to my tweet to @Scott Monty about lack of PP, Brembo brake option, or wheel options on the auto GT. He says he is going to pass the info on to Team Ford Mustang.
Here's to hoping against hope!
I think the PP should absolutely be an option for the auto GTs. At the very least we should have a brembo brake option with the wheels from the PP. Right now there are no 19 or 20" options for an auto non premium GT and thats just silly.
Oh I had no idea. Is there any way to figure out about how much more they usually pay than Americans? I know pricing should be out soon for us but I am dying to get my hands on any bit of info at this point. :help:
Nice. Best of luck. I am still waiting on a reply to my FB message and tweet about getting the PP for auto GTs (long shot I know) or at least having the option of getting the high gloss black wheels from the PP on an auto GT.
