Yeah the base GT wheels have grown on me over the months looking at photos here. I will definitly replace them with larger and wider aftermarket options come spring but these will be nice to have in the winter months.
I really dig the Vossen CV3s in graphite. Especially for the ruby red. It will be hard to pick any others than these for me. Maybe if I dont want to spend 3-4K on wheels and rubber.... Some other concaves will have to do in that case. Maybe Niche Targa or Milan. Or Forgestars.
God I hope its not the spoiler they use for all in production. I like the blade but not this one. Will be wishing I'd deleted if this is the only one they use.
Great pics! Nice to see pretty much exactly what I ordered but in ecoboost form. I wish it had been a GT but oh well. Again, great shots and thanks for these.
Base GT auto with 3.55s checkin in! I mainly race at an 1/8th mile track but I am sure I will get out to a 1/4 every couple months or so. I'll let you know how she does ;)
I'd like to see the Cobra back as the SVT car. I think you are exactly right with the name being a bit ridiculous as Shelby GT500/GT350 SVT Cobra Mustang. It gets all long and confusing and ppl end up just calling it a GT500 or a Shelby for short anyway. I say go back to plain old wonderful...
Yea thats gonna be a fun ride indeed. Grats on the order. I'd take Tim's advice, its solid. Plenty of time too and if the dealer doesnt want to play ball then your order is refundable right? I'd hope so. If so then there are plenty of dealers out there that will take an x-plan.
My past 2 mustangs have been manual but I am sick of it in heavy traffic. And now that this gen has paddle shifters, rev matching, line lock, and remote start on the auto I will be getting that this time. Plus I dont do any track racing any more. Only racing I will do is casual drag strip...
Ordered back in June. I am 31 years old and have been active duty US NAVY for the past 10 years. I am an Aviation Electronics Tech that specializes in Calibration. Right now I am the Production Supervisor of the Calibration Lab.
I'll tint the windows immediately then save $$ through the fall and winter for some Vossens and summer tires in the spring. After that likely intake, exhaust, tune, and since I am getting an auto and therefore no PP I will likely get a strut tower brace, and better rear sway bar.
This. Some time when I am getting close to the 3 year/36000 mile I will buy one from one of the ford dealers online for like $500-$600. They usually do 1 year same as cash too.
School Supplies!
My wife and I went to Walmart to try and be proactive and get a head start on school supplies for our kids this year. Looks like my son will definitely have the coolest note book in class. :headbang:
I think there were a few different ones, maybe a vert too.
My son...
Nice! Great to see some good side by side '14 and '15 pics.
Kinda wishing I'd ordered the 50th year option on my ruby red now.... kinda. Sure looks good.
