Oh man! Good stop though. GT350s love the cold air, but keeping the tires warm is another story. MetLife is 30mins from me. Let me know next time you guys are there to stop by and watch.

Oh man, road trip to COTA! Oh boy that would be fantastic. Maybe bunch of us in NE can figure out how to get there (hint hint @TDC @petstang @firestarter2 ). Nice brake from the winter. Hmmmmm (wheels are spinning)
Unfortunately after the Nov track event, it's hibernation and track withdrawal for us in NE :( Lucky you can run in winter!
The gap between the OEM GT350 and the APR splitters in the middle is pretty big about 3 inches. Before I filled the gap the air flow was going through the gap and pushing...
Makes sense, full slicks only do well on dry. But again, it will come down to the driver skills. Sucks when you are running for personal best, and either the weather doesn't cooperates or too much traffic. 1st day last week was wet and even when it stopped raining, the wet spots didn't help my...
Nice 20 min video, awesome time, and I'm surprised about the GT3 cup car. Was he slow? I run against a regular 2017 GT3 last time and we played for few laps. After passing him and after the session he came to me asking me "what the hell kind of car is this?" Nice guy and we had a good discussion...
Thanks for sharing! Who needs coffee after watching this? What an adrenaline rush.
I've been watching the evolution of the 919 and it's amazing how many records it has broken so far. More info on the specs of the car and the track record at Spa-Francorchamps below... And yes, it is faster than...
Hehe. Yeah 93 cars and counting! 82 cars last week. Another guy was put on the waiting list for the white group. Maybe send a quick email to the PCA organizer? If Blue/White runs with white then do it :).
Nice! Wait, are you at the NASA event at Lighting or the PCA event at Thunderbold? Either way hope to meet you in person. @TDC , @petstang , and I will be at Thunderbolt with the PCA group.
NJMP Lightning (data in .vbo and .csv formats):
1:12.85 Lap#15 - 55 degrees, mostly dry in the morning drying up during the last session with best time, old Pirelli slicks, FP springs and bars, APR aero, no traffic.
Awesome 2 day track at NJMP with the local PCA club! Thunderbolt (with rain half of the day) on Thursday and Lighting on Friday. Weather started at mid 40s on Friday and went up to mid 50s during the last 2 sessions (2 videos below). Personal best time and some good passing. Next and last...
Results are in, 90% better with the combination of Redline struts, adjusting to low the right and left hood stoppers, and the Ford weather strips . You can see the lack of movement of the hood in the video from the track day over the weekend 140mph +. :)
