Update: got my car back, it still had a knock the first time I drove it, however I haven't heard it since driving it the first time and that is the only time I heard it. I'm putting 600 miles on her next week so let's see how it goes from there. @GSFL any update on yours?

The problem is, my bearing assemblies were replaced and the noise persisted. The car is back at the shop and they identified that the new spring plates they installed one of them was faulty and have to be replaced again.

Unfortunately after driving around 20 miles the clunking had returned. I have brand new strut assembly wheel bearings. Knuckle and tie rods along with sway bar links. Wonder why it's coming from there. I guess torquing the nut would be the next step in this process.

Congrats!! I've driven my Bullitt 5+ hours on many occasions between l.a to sacramento. I will advise you buy a cheap bumper/hood cover as it is prone to rock chips more than other cars. At least in my experience

Apparently, there is a bearing in the strut mount itself. That is the one that the body shop said is bad and didn't arrive with the bushings so we are waiting for those.

Found the issue myself. Had my brother turn the wheel while I was peeking under the hood. The sound was coming from strut mount. However I just got new struts in the front (following an accident). So I contacted the shop and they reused the original rubber mount and there's a bearing as well...

Sorry to hear that. I'll definitely keep it in mind when I take it to get checked out next time I go there. I have pinpointed exactly where the "Click/Clunk" comes from. And it is at the top of the strut mount, the struts are new but they are still factory ones. I'll have ford look into it soon...

So how can I get a keychain?

I just had my brother turn the wheel and had the hood open, it comes from where the strut is mounted. But the struts are brand new and old ones had same sound so I assume it's all safe?
