  2. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I’m assuming you have a gen 2 car because you upgraded to a 18+ manifold? If that’s the case those LU-47’s will be ok with the 120mm and 93. You will need the DW pump or a BAP as well. That should get you somewhere in the 610-630 whp range for a gen 2 and that boost level. Hope that helps.

  4. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

X-Trim is the billet impeller option. If you want straight cut gears mention it in the order comments during checkout.
  5. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Yes, should be tightened down after it is clocked in the position you want it at. It will leak badly if not tightened.
  6. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

No, removing the air filter and pipe is not a good idea. It won’t gain any power and it actually raises the likely hood of contaminants entering the engine. The air filter location is protected by the fender liner and belly pan under the front bumper. Unless you are taking the car in deep water...
  7. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Areas such as the intercooler or filter won’t be sources of false knock. Vibrations won’t travel through the silicone piping. Something has to be loose on the engine itself or it’s a fuel/spark/sensor issue. Hope this helps
  8. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

It’s hard to give firm numbers because every setup differs and all the variables involved. However, that is a very easy goal to accomplish with a G3 X-trim on E85. A 110mm pulley would most likely get you there or beyond. Another member Brad has already been 6.2x @ 119mph in the 1/8th on a very...
  9. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Well that setup is mainly used for pump gas, generally around 700whp is where you run into octane limitations without the use of octane boosters or methanol. Again some people have pushed further but it’s risky. That same setup on E85 on a gen 3 car could make 750whp or more. Coyotes love E85...
  10. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I would recommend a G3/120mm setup for Gen 3 or a G3/115mm for Gen 2. This is about as much boost as you should safely run on pump gas. Some have pushed further using octane boosters but those are generally the limits we have seen. Get yourself a set of ID 1050’s or FIC 1000’s with our optional...
  11. Introduction Into Boost - Questions about potential setup

Hi, You will be perfectly safe with that pulley combo on 93. Just use a reputable tuner and you will be just fine. No need for methanol. I would just save that money and use it for the fuel system in the future. let me know if you have any questions about the kit! -Brevin
  12. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

The coolant hose should be routed higher for better fitment, that way it won’t be pinched behind the charge pipe.
  13. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Looks like this hose is a bit different than our shop Gen 2 car. Must be different for RHD. It looks like you could trim it some more at the T-stat housing and relieve the kink?
  14. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

That’s the bag that comes with the precision turbo BOV. Those are shims that change the spring rate. But you will leave it alone as it is already setup for a supercharged application. It also includes the fitting for the vacuum line. If you have a Tial you won’t have that bag.
  15. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

You should be able to run the G3 on the 125mm pulley and be fine on 91 octane
  16. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Glad you finally got your kit, use the valve as it comes straight out the box. It’s already setup for supercharged applications
  17. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I don’t have a bolt in solution at the moment, but I’m guessing it will fit similarly to the Boss manifold. You will probably have to work on a custom solution. Should be able to just modify and extend the hose we provide.
  18. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I believe the Mach 1 shares the Gt350 87mm throttle body. Just make sure to let us know when you order and we will include the Gt350 charge pipe. It will be a direct fit with no cutting or hacking needed!
