Splitters still holding up? I ordered the Ikon front and the Drake sides you have to mirror your set up. It looks good imo just hoping they hold up. My car isn’t a daily driver though so I’d like to think it would last longer even if cheap materials.
I personally would never pay for map updates considering I just use the maps from CarPlay anyways as it doesn’t seem to let me use the cars nav if my phone is plugged in and CarPlay is active. I would really like the new sync update when or if that will ever come out for the 2019.
It to me looks like rust from the rotor. They seem to rust really fast and the brakes clear the rust off the face of it. But I’ve still never had that before. You doing some hard braking? lol.
The photos are hard to tell but the side and rear splitters look glossier then the front. Does it all match pretty well? I’m thinking about doing the same set up.
No I don’t work in the automotive industry. Just specifying what has worked for me and there’s numerous forums on here with other users having similar results. Also ceratec is just the product not the company.
Mine didn’t start making that noise until my first oil change. And when I got a few thousand miles into that oil change it would be less noisy and then when a new oil change came it would be loud again until the oil had a few thousand miles on it. But after a bottle of ceratec I haven’t had it...
I wish I could upload a video of what I had. Definitely not that sound. Mine sounds more comparable to piston slap.
Not my video, but this is what mine sounded like.
I had a tick that was so loud you could hear it from 50 feet away. I dumped a bottle of ceratec in it after an oil change and haven’t heard it since. Also the engine doesn’t idle rough anymore and seem smoother now. ‍♂️
