Destination charges is something we do not have, Freighting vehicles by truck from our current Australian Factory (building Ford Falcons) to dealers, our destination charges must be included in the dealer fee charges (my Mustang March contract states $1813) and is not itemized.
To move a car on...
O.K.
My sales contract back in March this year (still haven't received my car yet, that's another story) R.R.P. (recommended retail price) $46990 (with Australian Taxes). Excluding GST (GST is Tax) $42718. These prices have No fees attached.
This price is for a White, EcoBoost, Automatic...
That part is to do with pricing of insurance, which cost can vary depending on owner's age, where the car is parked at night (garage or outside in the street), and what area (postcode, like zip code) you live in (some areas have high rate of stolen cars than others)
Drive away price, I think it...
That ($2995) would be local dealership delivery fee (wash, inspect, attach number plates etc.), for Ford USA to put a Mustang on a truck, train and boat to deliver from Flat Rock to a Australian Ford dealer.
A white, EcoBoost, manual, premium, performance pack, fastback costs $50121 Australian...
Australian Mustangs have been built to an "export specification" where all Mustangs built to be sold outside of North America, are made to suit all the other nation's motoring laws, sort of a compromise we have to accept if we want a Mustang. The logic behind this probably saves a lot of...

The Fidelio, which I have a special interest in, once it leaves Melbourne, it is next planned to dock at Port Kembla, then Brisbane, then onto South Korea...
My Salesman at my Dealership, told me that there are 3 other mustangs being delivered to the dealership the same time as mine, they have to be on the Fidelio as well, a regional dealership.
The info I am getting on my "Track & Trace" is, my Mustang's port of discharge is Brisbane 12/12/15, Boat is Fidelio.
This was changed from the original port of discharge Melbourne, 08/12/15.
That's better:D

I got an email from Pacific Ford this morning, there was a Mustang accessories brochure in the email,
Click on the link below, to view the PDF. of this brochure :),
I phoned RACQ for a over the phone quote,
The Mustang is not listed on their system, there was confusion with the operator for the Mustang not being on the system, the operator was asking is it a private import, No it is being sold through Ford Australia's dealer network.
The operator called...
I'm in the same boat (or should I say my Mustang is on the Fidelio too :)), yeah had a call from Ford just after midday today as well, same message, I will be checking with my dealer next week when I have some more free time.
My advice to people sitting around waiting for a phone call, is to contact Ford Australia yourself,
Dealers (sales staff) would be too busy chasing further sales from other tyre kickers, to be bothered in updating current (deposit paid) customers.
Think about it, for Ford Australia it would...
