  1. GUARD S550 MUSTANG Thread

My '05 GT is mineral gray and can have the same appearance in certain lighting. But the metal flake really pops in the sun :headbang:
  2. GUARD S550 MUSTANG Thread

Brandon Ford. The car was there for only a few hours for dealer training or so I'm told. No dealership employees were even allowed to drive it. A good friend of mine works there and told me a few weeks back it would be coming and he'd let me know when it showed up. He texted me some pics...
  3. GUARD S550 MUSTANG Thread

I'll add that this same car was at a Chik-Fil-A yesterday in Clermont FL. A buddy of mine sends me a text with 2 pics of it in the parking log. Apparently it was driven from Detroit (duh) on a long road trip test I guess.
  4. GUARD S550 MUSTANG Thread

5'6" or so on a good day :D
  5. GUARD S550 MUSTANG Thread

I also just got back from Brandon Ford. Gotta say this thing is a lot lower slung than I expected. The tire-to-wheel well gap is impressive for a factory stance. This particular car was the EB4 with no Track Pack. I'm sold on the exterior/interior 100%. Next phase is the drive in a few...

  8. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

That would be nice wouldn't it? It would at least take off some rotational mass the engine has to deal with. But then again - not to nitpick but Ford hasn't put a real working oil pressure gauge in the Mustang in a very very long time. By "real working OP gauge" I mean one that pegs at start...
  9. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

Word. Plus if you were to buy a small cosmetic item (power port plug) made of aluminum, they charge $10 to ship it rather than stick it in a padded envelope with a few stamps. No thanks.
  10. 2015 Mustang Pricing Revealed! $24,425 (V6), $25,995 (Ecoboost), $32,925 (GT)

OK I'm a simpleton and really have a hard time making sense of these different combos. I'd be eternally appreciative if someone could cobble together the price for each of the following: EcoBoost: Magnet Brembos 3.55 gears Leather Recaros Upgraded radio but not the top of the line one Spoiler...

  13. Any V8 fans seriously considering the turbo I4, and why?

Exactly - that $10K difference is a deal killer pure and simple. However, the heart can over rule the mind. One test drive in a GT and I could be done for LOL:headbonk:
  14. nice pic

Thanks for the pics! But...sigh....if that represents the stock ride height, then Eibachs will be the first mod yet again.
  15. Any V8 fans seriously considering the turbo I4, and why?

It's a definite maybe LOL Why, in no particular order: 1. Price - it would most likely sticker at about the same price my premium '05 GT did, around $28500 or so. At my age I cannot justify a GT at nearly $40K with the options I'd want. I'm 48 and the payment for a GT would be stupid even...

Apparently I'm not a self respecting car nut :headbang:
  17. 2015 Mustang GT First Look!

I concur, that's why mine has the Scott Drake smooth brushed aluminum cover over it, with black allen bolt heads around the perimeter and a Ford Racing raised decal in the middle :)
