The wait is worth it.
Back in the US and drove our 2015 GT today.
It only had 5.7 miles when delivered to us, so took it easy.
Totally different than our 2013, way way better.
The wait will be worth it many times over.
Car drives great and actually handles well out of the box.

Talked to a dealer in Perth on the weekend and they have been allocated 15 units in the first batch and have taken 60 deposits.
Don't know how correct it is but it looks like it make take 6 months or more to catch up with the orders.
Changing anything will most likely shunt you to the back...
Will be back in Oregon next Thursday.
I am going up to Lake Oswego to see another forum member who is about to install the corsa exhaust and are looking for someone in the area with a MRT exhaust as well to compare.
We will keep everyone in the loop about our car and the mods we are going to...
Does anyone in the Eugene or Portland area have the Corsa or MRT exhaust fitted as It would be good to hear them prior to ordering.
Looking for a deep sounding exhaust with as little drone as possible.
Most sound quite raspy, looking for that bigblock sound.
Had a Corsa on our 2013 GT and it was...
Parts from the US are not that difficult once the pitfalls are worked out.
Most shippers will consolidate your freight with others.
You just have it shipped to their US depot.
Due to strikes at the ports it can take up to 8 weeks to leave the US at present.
We will start looking for an exhaust...
Corsa exhaust
We will let everyone know how the Corsa extreme cat back sounds as we will order one for our US car when we head back to the US in a few weeks.
Hopefully it will be available late this month.
We had the axle back on our 2013 mustang and it was great with no drone even below 2000...
At least the price in Australia is the price.
In the US the dealer can charge a "bump" which is over the list price to the extent that he believes some one will pay.
Was offered a 50th anniversary model at 50k over list price in Oregon, decided to decline it as i am not quite that stupid...
Magnetic Metallic
Hi Aussie Rob,
I love silver cars but after looking at the silver car in Vegas at the 50th, it just didn't fit for me.
The Guard was a little dark, the Magnetic looks stunning in the correct light but can look pretty dull in especially in low light.
Hard to explain but the...
Same with me, There is only Ford for me.
Did drive a Camaro and found it to be slow plastic not so fantastic cheaply built car.
Bailing out GM kept multiple horses in the race which I guess is good.
Still only one car for me.:ford:
The rapid falling Aussie dollar will make it hard for Ford to fix a price this early.
I think we have not seen the bottom yet for our dollar.:frusty:
Can't complain as we have had it good for a few years.
After driving our car in the US I will wait for firm pricing and options to be announced...
Magnetic Rules
I have owned a lot of silver and tungsten grey cars but love the Metallic magnetic on the 2015, the 20 inch wheels help as well.
Now I just need to get it sounding like a real car :headbonk:.
Used Corsa on our 2013 GT so patiently waiting as there was no drone as with all the...
At least you guys get to drive yours as soon as it is delivered.
The only good thing with being back in Aus is the temps a mild 95.
Roll on next march.
looking to do all the swap meets on the west coast with it during March and April.
Till then
Enjoy:cheers:
Arrived in the US
Our baby has arrived in Oregon.
Will be back there in March and post more then.
Our next door neighbour put the car away and is going to order one next week I think?
