Interesting. It seems to be heat related. I find it ironic that the protective heat coating is failing it's purpose.
I would like to understand the application process. Is the coating sprayed on by hand or is it applied by machine to an engineered layer spec?

There was previous discussion about the weight savings if one did not order the Tech Package.
I read one source that claimed those components weighed nearly 40 lbs. on the S197 premium sound...
