That is too funny, I think I must have been in the check-out process when you posted that!
Yeah I don't know why before I thought it was quite a bit more expensive; $100 is a no brainier, looking forward to checking it out!
And HP Tuners support got back to me today, as predicted they want a...
You may be right; this is what I get when I read the vehicle. Hardware box is a drop-down. When I read the binary I selected TC-298 and all has seemingly been OK but.... well this could be a problem.
That makes sense, it seemed like the profile was really lacking some details. Also, I wonder if the Editor did not pull much or enough from the stock tune originally.
Awesome, thank you for the reply folks. So, my channel selection looks a bit different in that it does not have many of the items you are showing:
I have tried rescanning many times and this list does not change. Here is my vehicle profile, does it look OK?
I have read where other folks...
I was wondering if some of the HP Tuner folks here might have some insight before I try over at the HP Tuners forum.
I am just beginning to learn VCM Scanner in earnest and I feel like I can't get it configured correctly; I seem to be missing some common channels I see used here, youtube, etc.
I...
It is not a big difference, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch. It's still enough to improve the fender gap visually, especially with 35 or 40 aspect tires. I also really liked the increased spring rates, still fine for a daily driver but a little sportier than the non-Hp springs (which I thought were a...
Thanks for the updates, I am also having intermittent misfires on #4 ( P0304 ) and need to try the relearn sometime. Good to know this helps in some cases!
When I was there in April there were a couple of ASA style stock cars running all weekend and they were extremely loud.
You should be OK, have a great time!
Thank you for that, I have not pulled the IM yet but that back areas is one I want to look at closely.
I also kinda want to swap the injectors on the cylinder or at least check the seals.
Also maybe one day I can pick your brain on your experience tuning for the the IMRC lockouts.
Well the Mach 1 tube has the hemholtz resonzator hanging off of it, and the inside of the 2022 intake tube with the insert removed needs a MAF calibration update (as you mentioned.)
I got a new GT350/Bullitt tube (no hemholtz) for pretty cheap on ebay so I could go back and forth without pulling...
Definitely high on the list of next steps.
If anyone has any thoughts on how or what to log with hptuners to see what's going on, that would be helpful. I will try to do a few pulls and post the logs here with current setup vs factory.
Haha yeah I measured them at > .050", which is the same for F150, Lincoln navigator, etc (same part #)
The Ford Performance 1-step colder plugs came gapped at ~.035, I could have left it but I opened it up to .040 and put that into Cylinder 4. Unfortunately that did not make a difference...
Thanks CJ,
I swapped Cyl 1 and 4 coils after 1st track event. Problem did not follow the coil.
At a glance, the wiring harness and connector for Cyl 4 look good to me, but I didn't check the pins in the plug to see if they were pushed back/malformed, I will do that next.
I don't really have...
