  1. Honest opinions on stripes

Looks awesome. Did you do them yourself?
  2. Having a significant amount of knock after supercharger install *fixed*

I don't know if mine was touching the ac line, but it was close. I assumed it might under load, so I put in a little piece of high temp silicon hose between the ac and the header and held it down with a bolt. Still don't think it was touching. You can always try that temporarily to see if it...
  3. Swapping Back to 93

I reached out to PBD on this question, and their response (which makes perfect sense) is that when going back to 91, a few gallons of E85 left in the tank is not an issue. Going the other way, obviously, is different.
  4. FINALLY!!!!

Nice! Enjoy! Love the PP2 wheels, too. I'm glad the previous owner put them on my PP1.
  5. A.I. searches for car related questions lol

I love when they show an AI image of a new Mustang versoin coming out and it's an S550.
  6. Headers question

Similar to my combo but with an x-pipe. Cold starts are obnoxious, but only for about 3-5 seconds. It quiets down pretty quickly. Colder starts after work quiet down faster. Like you said, you can always program to start in quiet mode if it's an issue with neighbors in the morning. Sounds...
  7. 2017 Mustang Gt convertible with stock suspension. Anyone have 19x10et40 285/35r19 up front and 19x11et52 315/30r19 rear pics?

I think I might have 275's up front, but bought a spare set of wheels with Nitto 555RIIs for the drags. 305's really fill out the fender well, totally flush. I didn't notice any rubbing, and did try hitting a few corners with some speed. They handle surprisingly well in street driving, even...
  8. Honest opinions on stripes

I like it. It's different and unique. I went with all black (satin), but I think yours look great.
  9. Ford Performance Track Handling Pack - What do I need?

I didn't. It's definitely a stiffer ride, but even over rougher roads (they're pretty good in Idaho), it's not bad at all. Even the wife doesn't complain. And, thank you!
  10. Stainless Power headers almost touching ac

I did check with the tuner to see if he saw any false knock or timing being pulled because the computer thought it was pinging, all good!
  11. Daily driving with 17" wheels / drag radials

You can also do the chalk test. Put some thick chalk across the rear tires, drive forward until it starts to wear off, and adjust pressure until it comes off evenly. You'll see right away if it's wearing off in the middle, outsides or evenly at the pressure you are running. I've heard so much...
  12. Daily driving with 17" wheels / drag radials

Sometimes I get lazy after a day at the drags and don't get around to putting my street wheels back on. 305 RIIs in the back. I run them at the same pressure as the track (20-ish, didn't see an improvement with lower pressure with my slow car) and to be honest it drives great. I've hung a few...
  13. What else would you add for handling?

    Beautiful car!
  14. Remote start range is amazing on these cars

The other day I was walking out the door at a dr appt and hit remote start. I could barely hear it because it was so far away. I paced it off and I got about 200 yards, using my old Army pace count. Amazing. Now, the garage door opener is another story...
  15. Kooks Exhaust / Long Tube Headers

I bought those also, sound great. They were REALLY tight with the ac bracket, but I put a little piece of high temp HPS tubing between the ac and the headers, and tuner said there are no signs of flase knock. It probably keeps the ac system cooler than if it was almost resting against it, and...
  16. Kooks Exhaust / Long Tube Headers

I love the sound with headers, resonator removed (x-pipe) and stock mufflers. It's still ridiculously loud on a cold start, but quiets down quickly. Not obnoxious at all, but sounds amazing and even better when I get on it.
  17. On the hunt for a spoiler…

    Love the GT350 rear spoiler.
  18. Ford Performance Track Handling Pack - What do I need?

These are the closest to being the same angle, my above pics are probably harder to tell. I'm not sure it had completely settled in the second pic, it was just after the install and I was getting an alignment. First is stock PP1 height, second and third are after.
