I will sum up the apprehensions... Would you rather clutch slippage or a something down stream grenading? It will all have to be beefed to match the clutch at one point or another. Hopefully later than sooner.

So I'm relieved here a bit. Just a belt problem. But like Voodooo says... Why? Mis aligned pulleys? Bad run of belts? Belts that simple can't handle high rpm? Hopefully an easy fix for us all though.

Fringers crossed here as well... Shredded belt took out the radiador tank or some coolant lines in thinking???. So chalk it up to faulty belt I'm hoping nothing major and we can all sleep tonight.
