Ford will tell you a quart every 1000 miles is "normal" :). My 12 GT burned oil like crazy and 2 dealers were of no help. My 15 burned about half a quart the first 2000, then gradually went down to no usage at all by 10k. I am happy
I'm a single guy that lives and works in Philly. I got next to nothing back and paid quite a bit in Federal. 4% goes to Philly, because there's a lot of people here that need their free stuff. Now we have Bernie telling everyone that they need to pay more so people can have even more free...
Like I said Mazda was having this issue as well in the speed 3s.....and they're a lighter car making much less power. Honestly most of the issues occurred when people modded them
I said if "I" had a choice. :). I'm too poor and cheap to buy a 50 plus k car, especially for a toy. As a cruiser I think the SRT is a better choice. But I like racier cars, that's why I got a base gt with the pp.
Same stuff happened in the Mazdaspeed world. People would floor the car in 6th not knowing any better. It's bad on a motor like this because the small turbo makes a ton of low end torque, which can lead to a bent rod if a load is put on the motor in high gear. The tell tale sign of doom was...
I just drove my buddies srt challenger and I have to say it's a really nice car. Now, I have a base gt with pp so comparing interiors isn't really fair. But, the challenger had one damn fine interior. I liked the shorter travel clutch too. It was big, but it handled surprisingly well. It had...
I've had my Steeda intake on for months with zero issues. It's been through downpours, snow, ice and me blasting water at the hood during car washes. Some of you are a little paranoid :D.
I never had the driver side clamp replaced, but I've never noticed a leak either. When it gets cold exhaust leaks are easy to spot since they drip water. I had to readjust the front clamps on the exhaust and replace the rears.
Maybe I'll have some different mufflers welded in. The cold start at...
Has yours gotten insanely loud? Mine has been on the car for over 10k miles now. Lately the cold start has been obnoxious, and acceleration too. Is it possible something is ''loose'' inside a muffler or broken? I checked the hangars and they are tight, but I haven't gone over the exhaust...
And another one. Makes you wonder how many people this has happened to as only a small percentage of owners post on forums. I don't get how they can deny warranty on that obvious failure, but Ford will try and get away with anything. Sorry to see this OP, hopefully someone higher up will approve...
