If Ford would get rid of the huge iPad screen and replace it with knobs and dials, maybe it cut expense as well as decreasing the incidents of distracted driving. I never really had an issue with adjusting fans etc with knobs while keeping my eyes on the road.

Those spots aren’t due to rock chips. It is most likely due to the spoiler rubbing, when the spoiler was attached or when people close the trunk by pressing on the spoiler. I had the same issue after a repair and the shop scratched the paint by closing the trunk by the spoiler. I had them...

Giving the manufacturer access to perform updates remotely is a slippery slope. They can also shut down your vehicle remotely for having non OEM service performed. Gotta pick your poison.
