  1. Preliminary numbers: 2015 Mustang 2.3L Ecoboost - 305-315 hp / 300-310 lb-ft

I wonder what the torque curve looks like...flat from 1500 to 6000?
  2. 2015 Mustang Revealed (First Official Images)! Via Autoweek Magazine

um...from the fourth paragraph: "The full verdict will come when people drive the next Mustang, and it won't hit showrooms for another year." Could this be considered as factual as "this is the real car"?
  3. 2015 Mustang Revealed (First Official Images)! Via Autoweek Magazine

I've owned one Mustang - a '66. I'm not "the Mustang faithful". I'm cross shopping the C7, M3/M4, RS5, Boxster/Cayman, and C63 AMG. I really was hoping for something more along the lines of the euro sports coupe - closer to the EVOS based renders. Those were what first pulled me in. When I...
  4. chazcron's 2015 Mustang 3D renders and 'shops

My first car was a white '66 stock Mustang. Love this one! Thanks for keeping us occupied during the dry spell. :clap2:
  5. chazcron's 2015 Mustang 3D renders and 'shops

Just have to say Chaz, I definitely prefer yours. To me it appears very sleek - more Pony than Muscle. Queue the flames...but your renders seem more athletic, less muscle bound bodybuilder. Your car looks ready to take on the Europeans in the twisties!
  6. AWD?

This is most logical, and where I see the future headed.
  7. AWD?

I'm in the foothills and we normally get about twice the accumulation of the metro area. The house faces North (no sun melt in the front/drive), and our driveway has a section of 30 degree incline - previous FWD cars had issues in slick conditions. My issue is convincing the wife to keep...
  8. AWD?

This is what I'm trying to understand. Can someone define how RWD provides a more "pure" driving experience vs AWD?
  9. AWD?

This is logical. Thanks! Ok, so it isn't necessarily that AWD would be "worse", but just may not suit the taste of the manufacturer/engineer/driver. Got it. I have two SUVs for inclement weather (Touareg & MDX). As I probably wouldn't go all out with a GT500/GT350/etc, I'm shopping...
  10. AWD?

But why? I've read that many of the rear biased AWD systems are actually better for crap drivers like me who will never see a track. Thanks - very direct. I'm curious why this sentiment exists among Pony/Muscle fanatics. If Ford is going global, most of the competing coupes have an AWD...
  11. AWD?

Wet, snow, and loose...if I go S550 it will be a daily driver. I live in Colorado and have plenty of slippery days. http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-reviews/car-comparison-tests/page-10---all-wheel-drive-sport-sedans#drive
  12. AWD?

What are the chances we will see an AWD option on the S550?
  13. The Face of the 2015 Mustang!

I was referring to the ones in Arizona, not the track... http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=768
  14. Now that we've seen the new Mustang...

Let the flames start... Maybe they will offer different trims similar to the BMW lines. Stealthy, modern, etc.
  15. The Face of the 2015 Mustang!

These pics in question (not the track) were pretty far from MI.
  16. The Face of the 2015 Mustang!

I believe there are still laws about pointing a gun at someone in public...:headbonk:...let alone any sort of actual physical altercation at the behest of a multi-billion dollar traded company. The one render that basically nailed the front end before this reveal is the most telling piece of...
  17. Now that we've seen the new Mustang...

Sold! I'm probably also around the $60k mark...how to squeeze it all in, and convertible? But if it's close to the direction you are preaching (heavy on evos/"modern" renders), I'll forget all about the C7/M4 and spend what it takes. We have a number of muscle cars at work - brand...
  18. All 2015+ Mustang S550 renders / chops compilation

Take my money! But I suspect lots will chime in about the loss of heritage. This would make me forget about the new Stingray. :headbang:
