Pistons coming end of June...

lol some of these responses. I had the cash on hand I’m gonna be okay, doesn’t mean I’m excited about having to spend some of it. Anyways shipment from MMR arriving Monday. Pistons had an 8 week build time, not sure if they will be in my package or not. Will keep updated as I sit here and wait.

I’ve heard of them and heard good things but awhile back when I needed to install my bolt ons that shop was MIA and a co worker of mine recommended PSK. So now I’m loyal to them and they have treated me excellently. My mustang has turned into a passion project love/hate relationship there haha

Awesome love to hear it! Nima did my bolt on's and is now knee deep in rebuilding my entire car LOL. I have good faith in Nima and am excited to finally get this thing back at some point, we'll have to meet up. I'd love to match up, I know that's a race I'd lose but just a matter how much :crackup:

I'm in an unique situation here where my new motor needs assembled so adding something like cams wont add any additional labor. I'd get a screaming deal on the in house port work too with all this lumped in. Boost would require a lot more dollars up front for a kit plus a lot more $$'s in...

Really wouldn't be the same money for me in this situation though. I could buy a set of comp cams or whatever cams for $1500 and throw them in there for no additional labor. Add a CJ instead of a ported 18 if I wanted. so $2500 in parts for me to run 500+whp. If I wanted to buy a boost set up...

Also interested in how feasible this is, never heard of it being done before. Considered the junkyard motor route but I found my built motor for about the same price even less considering the miles and parts. Car is almost paid off so I'm gonna set her right and keep it for a bit.

I realize that’s so counter culture here to not have a hard on for boost, but just a personal preference fam. Been and and driven boosted cars (whipple/roush) and they’re a blast. To be honest, that 500+ whp all motor set up sounds more exciting to me than a basic boost set up even if it’s slower

My tech Nima is an all star there. No local mustang shops here in Pittsburgh that I know of but they take care of me there.

If I went boost, this would definitely be the way I'd want to go for that reason.
