Thanks Lone, they are. Well the top 2 are, the bottom 2...probably are. Picked them up for a silly bargain price but will hopefully know for sure tomorrow :)
Ready to Roll?
Yawwwnnn. Christ, it's a bit slow on here tonight. Might as well post a picture of something that I didn't do to the mustang today but might do tomorrow if I can break my own PB and wake up before 7:30 on a Saturday morning...
Great pictures Stark. :coolphotos: In some of the bottom snaps you've captured a hint of the strange kinda salmon pink hue that comp orange takes on in low sun from some angles. In fact just like the angle my car sits at on the drive when looking at it through the front window of an evening. At...
Not a lot so far. The salesman is keeping me sweet and came out with me to listen. Needless to say in urban traffic the noise failed to perform on demand but he heard enough to acknowledge that there was something not quite right and so it's now booked in for an investigation on the 16th. My...
Thanks for the update. I am taking mine in tomorrow and will be taking a printout of this with me. I have the "clunk" too but that isn't at all uncommon. Funny, I also have a Barton waiting for install but it certainly isn't going on until this is sorted out.
According to google translation of today's email: "Good news about your order. That decision is shipped and will soon reach you."
I've always had trouble decision making so this is indeed good news. :)

Yup, I got that. Just been talking to another guy in the UK with what sounds like the same thing. It's not one of those "oh that's a slightly unusual noise" type things, more a "WTF is that" noise. It's definitely coming up through the shifter boot, so not the lever or collar.
Mine was built...
I'm getting quite a bit of vibration through the lever as well. Much more than I'd expect from something that's so infamously isolated by layers of plastic and rubber. Grasping it tight affects the volume and tone of the noise slightly but it certainly doesn't go away.
Yes, this is what I am dreading. I'm going to try and get mine in to be listened to at least on Thursday. Need to be firm with them I think.
Mine is a swirling grinding sound to my ears but what you say about the warming up thing...it has to be the same.
What was your build date BTW? Mine was...
