  1. New car time. What cars are you considering w/replacing your Mustang?

I'm 73 and put 3,500 miles on my 19 this year. At that rate its gonna last a long time. The 4 Runner eats all the garbage miles.. maybe, just maybe there's a used GT350 out there that my change my destiny.
  2. What does your Garage look like

As the owner of a one car garage I can only envy you boys with room - in some cases lots of it.
  3. Honestly, who prefers the GT 5.0 over GT350?

I would be lying if I said I haven't dreamed about owning a 350. But. as an aging ole fart the numbers (when comparing at GT to a 350) are reality. My GT as equipped was $41K out the door. The 350 out the door is close to $66K. That's a huge delta ($25K) and OK you get better handling, braking...
  4. Ordering a 2020 GT - Should I buy auto or manual?

You're gonna get a lot of plausible reasons why and why not. I'm old school so the 6 speed (albeit the pathetic MT82) was my choice. Aside from my old school preferences the manual gear box keeps my wife in her 4 Runner. That was part of my decision making process as well.
  5. Quad Exhaust Depression

I'm confused - why "simple slip on" take two hours to install? They look like slip on sleeves.
  6. Sway Bars - So Many Choices

I just went to Carbon Cartel - so much for that option. Nice stuff but a bit pricey...search continues
  7. Sway Bars - So Many Choices

OK you might have a point. Gotta go find this thread you're referring too.
  8. Sway Bars - So Many Choices

I'll tell you what- except for possibly a CAI I'm done with performance/handling. I would like to explore what I can do to improve the interior. An upholstery guy told be he could wrap the console in thin expensive leather. I need to see a sample before pulling the plug on that. Then the dash...
  9. Sway Bars - So Many Choices

The adjustable sway bars, end links, G Track K member brace and tower strut bar are in and yes you can definitely feel the difference. The total was $1600 parts and labor. Next are the sneakers - that should be the final piece... ( did I really say that?)
  10. How many GTs are Owned by Seniors?

    Kudos on the photography
  11. Anyone else have this issue with their leather

Had a similar issue with my 2016. Granted my ass was in it daily but the leather transitioned to that "beat" look much sooner then it should. I tried to keep it clean and treat the leather but it had no impact. No rips simply looked used a lot. The 16 had 18K on it when I traded it in. My ass...
  12. How many GTs are Owned by Seniors?

Definitely agree - I half crawl out of mine. My driveway is an incline making it even more entertaining. When I go to gym I look around before I start exiting. Part of being a senior piloting a hot rod with a tight cockpit I guess...
  13. 2019 GT Owners be advised

I screwed that up. Simply an FYI. I apologize if this topic has been covered. The oil drain plug pictured is what Ford has decided to use in your oil pan. According to my tech it breaks easily and many techs brake it while removing it since they aren't familiar with it. It's plastic and not...
  14. How many GTs are Owned by Seniors?

Well stated. This chapter has it's issues for sure.
  15. How many GTs are Owned by Seniors?

Those wheels and sneakers look great!
  16. Seniors: Louder Exhaust?

It's a .22 and lots of fun. Given the new restrictions in NJ I'm going to need a 10 round mag. Makes the weapon look foolish.
  17. Seniors: Louder Exhaust?

72 Here..Had a Magnaflow on my 16. The active exhaust on the 19 provides choices - it works for me.
