  1. Eco boost VS GT

I did not know that, of course mine is locked into Track mode, so I don't think I've heard Stealth in over two years.
  2. Eco boost VS GT

Does the GT not have stealth mode for the exhaust?
  3. Why is everyone buying the replica GT500 rear diffusers instead of OEM?

I think the choice between replica vs OEM parts in general comes down to whether you view your car as eventually being a 'collectible'. If you're going to keep it for 20 years, maybe it would be nice at the end of that for it to be all OEM. On the other hand, if you're going to drive it 3-5...
  4. New Mustang Nascar Leaked First Look

Front end looks like a Camaro with the Mustang sequential lights.
  5. Anybody here still work out?

At 57 it's definitely use it or lose it time. I'm 6 ft and try to stay around 160-165. I stick to pushups, pullups, dips, and curls. I have a workout station for the dips and pullups. and a set of Powerblocks for curls.
  6. Eco boost VS GT

I see a lot of EBs and GTs around here. That is a nice shade of green.
  7. Eco boost VS GT

I bought my son a base 2020 Ecoboost new, last month, for just over $24K out the door. My opinion, it will never keep up with my car, but for the price, you get a lot of performance. It handles well, feels very nimble, and has pretty good acceleration. Best in it's class I think. If by...
  8. Bought my son a new 2020 Mustang EcoBoost

I don’t know that having a Mustang will help him get girls, but it won’t hurt and if it makes him more confident.....
  9. GT Premium vs Mach 1 Premium

I've gone through quite a few sets of Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3s and warm and dry, they're the bomb, cold and/or wet, the pucker factor can be high. I got about 15,000 miles per set.
  10. GT Premium vs Mach 1 Premium

It probably depends upon what you're going to do with the car. If it's a DD then all seasons are needed in some parts of the country. It gets too cold here to drive summer tires year round, not to mention the rain. OTH, if it's a weekend/summer driver then yeah I wouldn't put all seasons on it.
  11. GT Premium vs Mach 1 Premium

I don't own a Mach 1, but if you're going to buy a track oriented car, frequent tire replacement is part of the deal, particularly when you don't have a square setup. Another drawback you'll find to those tires is that they're not very sticky when it's either cold, or wet, or both. The ideal...
  12. Bought my son a new 2020 Mustang EcoBoost

Actually a Deuce Coupe is on my wish list, but for me. There's a company that produces the body's, licensed by Ford. Someday, maybe, I'll buy one and drop a Voodoo crate engine in it. Chop the roof down, it would be cool.
  13. Bought my son a new 2020 Mustang EcoBoost

Looks like a 6th gen GT and 5th gen RS? If so Ford rules in that garage. In mine the turbo 4 can’t hang with the V8 SS 1LE.
  14. Bought my son a new 2020 Mustang EcoBoost

Lol. He wasn’t to happy about the MyKey suggestion, but I paid for the car and am paying insurance and gas, so it’s my rules. I like the idea of a good driving school or some competition to hone his skills. Not sure how that would impact insurance and his warranty. My Camaro’s warranty covers...
  15. Bought my son a new 2020 Mustang EcoBoost

Lol! No the wife has an Accord(shudder). I’m trying to talk her into letting me get her a Raptor. I have thought about a supercharged Challenger, but I think my next car will be either a ZL1 1LE or a GT 500
  16. Bought my son a new 2020 Mustang EcoBoost

Yeah, I think we're headed in that direction. He's into cars, now he has his Mustang and I have my Camaro. Doing some smaller mods on his car would be a cool father dad thing. When I got to the speed limiter menu I believe I had to use the right arrow then I could scroll up and down through...
  17. Bought my son a new 2020 Mustang EcoBoost

That is very nice. Pretty much what he's looking for, minus the red stripe.
  18. Bought my son a new 2020 Mustang EcoBoost

Yeah, I bought it. He can't very well co-sign for it, he's only 15. The car is in my name. I will put it in his name when he graduates high school, with the grades I specify. Here in Georgia, we have Zell and Hope college scholarships. Graduate HS with a 3.7 or higher core GPA and you can...
  19. Bought my son a new 2020 Mustang EcoBoost

Georgia is a bit weird when it comes to speed limits, particularly in the Metro Atlanta area. If he were limited to 50-55, he would have real problems on the Interstates, and trying to get around on secondary roads isn't feasible in a lot of areas. Most traffic on the Interstates around here...
