MPG like any baseline on a motor can be used to monitor the engine over time. It can give you insight into gas quaility, ethanol content, tire pressures for those not running the tpms ignition health and general well being of the engine. With that said I’m running a Hellion sleeper on 93 and...
Just some reference for anyone searching in the future my Hellion sleeper A10 car runs about 195 CHT after a it reaches operating temps. Creeps up to 200 during a hit or sitting at a light but drops right back down once I’m cruising again. Stock T stat on a 39 degree night.
That’s a fantastic start man! Seeing your work has been a real help to me in the Hellion install on my car. Even took a couple of your ideas that I liked better. Thanks for sharing!
You
You can start those at any speed. You don’t want to start at 60. Depending on the setup the idea is to do whatever works best for your car. With a turbo car you’d want to be spooled up by the time you hit 60. The dragy won’t start the run until it sees 60.
You need to experiment to...
I have it and looked today. It’s insane how fast some of those cars are wow! I had a single turbo e85 1 series bmw that clicked off 6.80s and started getting cocky with that
I have one. Haven’t used it in the mustang yet. Only had the car a couple of months. It is really accurate and the video overlay is off the hook and simple to use. It’s pretty popular locally among a lot of guys. I’d be interested to see some 60-130 times as well.
Looks fantastic! What else would you expect from one of the best established aftermarket performance companies. I had the pleasure of installing an E-charger on a C7 vette and can say the entire kit was top notch. Good Luck with it. I am sure you will make plenty of power with that...
Yes. 2018+ 1/4 turn with the plastic pan. It looks like the stock plug might “just” make it. I won’t be pulling the UPR plug till the summer. I’ll deal with it then. Maybe out the stock one back in.
Does the oil plug clear the oil scavenge tank. I just hung my tank and have the UPR plug. It doesn’t look like it’ll clear for removal. The stock oil pan plug is a little shorter.
Same here man. I can’t wait to hear it. I am waiting on the intercooler to ship then I can knock out the install in a weekend or two. Only problem is winter is settling in.
I drive around in quiet mode about 80% of the time. I like being stealthy. Drag mode the other 20%. Exhaust is still stock. I have the Hellion sleeper kit waiting to be installed and will see how that changes the tone before I decide on a resonated x or not.
I have my quiet start set from 12am to 12am. It always starts in quiet mode. It will stay in quiet mode indefinitely unless I use the toggle switch to change into sport or track. Moving the shifter to sport however will not change the exhaust. This is my usual mode when cruising around.
As far as the supercharger itself it’s hard to say. Both will make more power than a stock engine can handle. Whipple on the 18+ has a much better manifold/inlet design allowing for a huge intercooler vs the 18+ Rousch. Probably more than twice the surface area. This is why the Edelbrock...
