I sure understand the disappointment and don't want to put you through more, but I would keep trying daily right up to departure of the Talisman and I think some vins have shown up a day after sailing!! If nothing then I would start again a week before departure of the next boat. I bet it shows...
Hi Horseless
I thought I was the only one left waiting this long. I ordered mid July 15 and it was built on the 20/7/16. It only showed as booked on a boat at 11.30pm on the 7/9/16. So hopefully yours will turn up in the next couple of days! I really do feel for you the wait has been ridiculous...
Happy Days!
You were right on both counts. I just hit track and there it was!!! :clap2: I can't believe it, unless something goes wrong it will be a mere 14 months from order to getting it on a boat! Anyhow looks like we're boat buddies!
Thanks Darryn I need all the help I can get!!
I was sure mine would be the first car booked on this boat, I don't think anyone else has a pony sitting around as long as mine at the moment?!:frusty:
You''re right to a point. In my immediate family we have bought many euro cars that were ordered here and only a couple picked up in europe, the others were delivered in a timely manner. A simple call to the dealer accurately informed us of the production and or delivery status! I'm talking...
Yep it's crazy! I don't, to a point really care that much about production order, but leaving some cars waiting to be shipped while other cars built weeks later get on a boat is really rude in my book. akin to being ignored at the shop counter!!
Remember me? mine was built the week before yours and had no extrs being fitted after build!!! and now as Tiger has sailed has missed six ships since being built :frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:. They would need to give me a Ford Racing Supercharger to keep me happy at the...
I understand the processes of manufacture and that Ford can't manufacture in order of order date, but this whole business of cars taking such massively different time for logistics seems crazy!!
Hi Darryn, it is unfortunate that Ford could not supply in a more timely manner but understandable and excusable, but it is ridiculous that Ford could not provide a first come first served service to it's customers! It has upset a lot of people! However it is unacceptable that on top of the...
I sure hope not!!! Mine was built six weeks ago and is with Darryns on a train?? I haven't cared about the huge number of people ordering after me and getting their cars built before, but what is really pissing me off is knowing that cars built after mine by as much as a month are sitting in...
Mine was the 20th July!!!!! and it's on the slow train? I am sure I read on a train Forum (I know this car stalking is pathetic) that it ONLY takes four days from Flat Rock to Baltimore!! So where's the Ponies??? the're going to miss the boat:doh:
So mine was built the week before yours didn't go away for stripes and I'm hoping to get on the same boat with you!!! and you're complaining!!!! I've just been reading our past posts and something is urging me to add that "I had to get up at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed...
Three sounds good to me! and I WILL read my posts before I hit submit:doh:
If I can't get out of it I will be in China. I think you have the better deal, LA/Vegas, plus Brisbane arrival is sooo much faster than Adelaide. We get to suffer the extra time of Melbourne off load then truck to...
Hi Darryn
Looks like we get to share this whole journey together. Orderd July15 built July16, and Deysha informs me today that after sitting at Flat Rock since the 20th of last month, ( and I didn't have stripes fitted!! ) that my Pony was loaded on a train last Wednesday:clap2:. I think we're...
