Love the fact that it appears possible to do the install without removing the entire bumper cover. Since mine is a 'vert, I'm now second guessing my choice of going with the Sports. Nice that the resonator is a plug-and-play option, if needed.
In the past, and on a completely unrelated platform, I ran a V2SQ. I pullied down dramatically to get boost earlier in the RPM's, but ran an inlet restrictor to limit max psi. Some guys run a waste gate after the blower, but it's less efficient, as the blower has already done the work (compressed).
Hmmm...I'm wondering if I've installed completely correctly. When moving, I'm about +4 over ambient. However, Atlanta traffic being what it is, I have seen +50 over ambient in stop-and-go, hour drive into the office.
I found it interesting that the box seals almost entirely against the hood and under the upper fender trim (can see it in the first pic, you have to tuck the box and gasket [which is installed around the entire box]). It appears that it truly only pulls are from the factory cold air feed and...
All-in-all, not a bad install. I did deviate from the instructions at one point by installing the factory cold air feed, then installing the Steeda airbox (instructions call for installing the feed onto the airbox, the installing the entire unit together...I couldn't get it to work that way)...
