  1. Performance Review

My 2017 GT350 has 2,000 mile on it. I am now comfortable with the car and was able to put it through it's paces yesterday on some challenging roads. Coming back from a business meeting in Agoura Hills back to Long Beach, I took canyons roads through the famous Mulholland Hwy and Rock Store...
  2. What is your best reaction story/stories?

Nope, Long Beach. I assume you are in Rancho Cucamonga?
  3. What is your best reaction story/stories?

Several months prior to securing a GT350, I told my BMW mechanic (who also races his BMW 2002) that I was thinking of getting a GT350. I sent him the link to the Everyday Driver Boss 302 / GT 350 comparison. I told him it was a special car and that he should check out the video. For the next...
  4. Ford Performance GT350 Lowering Springs Group Buy

"Would you jump off a bridge just because your friends did?" "Uh..... depends how high?" So YES, for only $225 clams, COUNT ME IN!
  5. My GT350 Spare Tire Solution

This wheel DOES not fit. http://www.autoanything.com/wheels-rims/drag-dr-37-wheels It just lightly scraps the front caliper pad. Plus there is too great of a slope on the barrel of the rim to cut out 3". There would be too great of a barrel mismatch to weld both ends. Anybody find a cheap 19"...

    Here you go!
  7. GT350 FORScan Tweaks

Just eliminated the "Sound Enhancement". While some here have said they like it. I am in the opposite camp. The idea of fake noise piped in through the stereo just isn't right, IMO. I think the extra sound level was quite significant and really appreciate the noise where it should be outside...
  8. Would You Purchase This Mini Spare Tire? (19"x6")

After close examination I can see why most 19" rims do not clear the calipers. The stock wheels have a noticeably bigger Inside Diameter than a typical 19 rim. Take a look at your stock front tire, and you will notice that the Inside Diameter expands to allow room for the calipers after the...
  9. Would You Purchase This Mini Spare Tire? (19"x6")

What was the width of the 20"? If it were 10" then it would be 1.5" wider than the proposed 8.5" wheel above. The 8.5" would then be .75" less overhang towards the fender at the same offset, but the 40mm offset would have it 10mm closer to the fender than the 20" x 10" rim with a 50mm offset...
  10. Would You Purchase This Mini Spare Tire? (19"x6")

If the wheel would be cut down to something that would fit in the spare tire wheel well, I doubt there would be a 20" tire narrow enough. The 175/60 19 that we have spec'd out is probably already an exception for being so narrow and yet very tall (19")
  11. Would You Purchase This Mini Spare Tire? (19"x6")

This looks like a REALLY good option, only $180. The options I selected was: 19" x 8.5" 5 x 4.5" Bolt Pattern 40mm Offset Flat Black There were two choices on offset 40mm or 20mm. I would think the 40mm offset would be better especially if the wheel would be cut down. The stock specs for...
  12. Would You Purchase This Mini Spare Tire? (19"x6")

Ok, well that was a dead end...... I spoke to Darren at MRR Design, he was very helpful in outlining the process of ordering a custom design. What I learned. 1) The design shown above in a 19" does not clear the calipers on a GT350, who would have thought, it looks just like a Shelby GT350...
  13. Would You Purchase This Mini Spare Tire? (19"x6")

    A 175 x .6 aspect ratio = 105mm if compared to the Shelby's average tire size of 300 x .35 = 105mm , it is a perfect match.
  14. Would You Purchase This Mini Spare Tire? (19"x6")

Inspired by this recent thread by JohnVallo, I got thinking about getting a manufacturer to create a real spare tire for the Shelby. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49371 Would you purchase a spare wheel to fit neatly in the trunk wheel well? Even if the rim cost $300? Keep in...
  15. My GT350 Spare Tire Solution

Bump..... Anybody come up with a good wheel as a starting point to cut down? I really like the idea of a cut down usable spare tire. Don't want to get stuck in the middle of no where.
  16. The Down and Dirty ADM Thread

Ok.... cool... I will look in my paperwork. I did know that I will need a smog. Fortunately, I am a AAA member and they don't treat you like dirt like at the DMV. So hopefully they can walk me through everything.

MSO? Is this the package we get from Ford? No I just picked the car up two days ago on Tuesday. Thanks you all. This is truly a special car! :)
  18. The Down and Dirty ADM Thread

For the last 3 months I have been trying to buy a 2017 in SoCal at the best price possible. After a few attempts I had two opportunities to buy at MSRP +6k. The first offer of MSRP +6k, I wasn't ready to jump on. But the second offer of +6, I was willing to go +4, but was still declined. I was...
