Tried to file a police report for hit and run....
No one wants to pick up the phone for me to report it because it's lapd...
Less than 15mph, rear end and I wasn't hurt so I guess I'll count this as lucky.
You need to go through a couple drive cycles to let the obd2 system to confirm readiness of its emissions systems. Different drive cycles depending on the manufacturer but a couple drives on thr freeway and local roads usually does it...
Grew up watching those commercials so I gave them a call when shopping for my gt350.
Quoted me 25k over sticker and said it as if he was doing me a personal favor. This was in the middle of all the lock down crap too when nothing was moving.
These things must be on a timer, my 19' battery just died.
Usually its on a charger if I dont plan on driving it for more than a week but this time I let it lapse. 3 weeks without the charger and the battery is dead, not just low but flat nothing when I turn it on.
Because in this case its not.
Crawling around the car the engineers have done enough vibrational analysis to know if it would cause an issue with the valves/springs. This apparently is not a voodoo limited issue, searching around the 6.2 and predator engines drop valves from spring failures...
a few weeks with the throttle body and I can say that its more responsive at part throttle. And at near idle/low rpm it almost feels too responsive, twitchy is how I would describe it.
I like it, but it takes some adjusting when trying to rev match or heel/toe.
Higher RPM I feel no difference
Im going to say this is the most likely scenario. Usually the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
Also theres an interview somewhere where another reason for the unconventional firing order was intake packaging. I want to think that with some clever work they could have gotten around it...
I have a dealer here with a good service department but it was recently sold. I have no idea how the new owners are running things, taking fast cars in for service is always a gamble.
I would bet on the surface the construction looks the same. Maybe a different media but the spring for the bypass would be stronger.
Summit lists the bypass pressure for the 910s at just over 14psi which is on the low end for filters. Wild ass guess that at anything above cruising in a 5.2 that...
