  1. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Tried to file a police report for hit and run.... No one wants to pick up the phone for me to report it because it's lapd... Less than 15mph, rear end and I wasn't hurt so I guess I'll count this as lucky.
  2. What did you do to your GT350 today?

You need to go through a couple drive cycles to let the obd2 system to confirm readiness of its emissions systems. Different drive cycles depending on the manufacturer but a couple drives on thr freeway and local roads usually does it...
  3. New owner - engine failure

Sounds like you're waiting too long, wayyyyy to long to let the clutch out when reving
  4. Another blown engine thread

Grew up watching those commercials so I gave them a call when shopping for my gt350. Quoted me 25k over sticker and said it as if he was doing me a personal favor. This was in the middle of all the lock down crap too when nothing was moving.
  5. Performance driving school @ Buttonwillow

Seems like this is more a driving school than a track day.
  6. Battery replacement procedure

These things must be on a timer, my 19' battery just died. Usually its on a charger if I dont plan on driving it for more than a week but this time I let it lapse. 3 weeks without the charger and the battery is dead, not just low but flat nothing when I turn it on.
  7. Add me to the list…

Because in this case its not. Crawling around the car the engineers have done enough vibrational analysis to know if it would cause an issue with the valves/springs. This apparently is not a voodoo limited issue, searching around the 6.2 and predator engines drop valves from spring failures...
  8. Soler Engineering Throttle body

a few weeks with the throttle body and I can say that its more responsive at part throttle. And at near idle/low rpm it almost feels too responsive, twitchy is how I would describe it. I like it, but it takes some adjusting when trying to rev match or heel/toe. Higher RPM I feel no difference
  9. Add me to the list…

I thought it was already known a bad batch of valve springs was the cause.
  10. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Weird, but really I cant see it having any measurable impact and even then only at WOT.
  11. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Im a rebel like that. I figure I never see it so why I've heard only ones purchased as a new unit get the dimples.
  12. What did you do to your GT350 today?

    Soler throttle body installed.
  13. Soler Engineering Throttle body

Thanks guys for helping me spend more money.
  14. Soler Engineering Throttle body

Anyone running this TB with a tune? How is it working out with the tune? Did you have lund tweak your tune for the soler TB?
  15. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Started the process to go e85, but also forgot to remove the camber gauge.
  16. 5.2L V8 Ford Voodoo Engine Will Not Be Offered As A Crate

Im going to say this is the most likely scenario. Usually the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Also theres an interview somewhere where another reason for the unconventional firing order was intake packaging. I want to think that with some clever work they could have gotten around it...
  17. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I have a dealer here with a good service department but it was recently sold. I have no idea how the new owners are running things, taking fast cars in for service is always a gamble.
  18. Oil Change situation

I would bet on the surface the construction looks the same. Maybe a different media but the spring for the bypass would be stronger. Summit lists the bypass pressure for the 910s at just over 14psi which is on the low end for filters. Wild ass guess that at anything above cruising in a 5.2 that...
  19. Oil Change situation

There's one in the filter and there's been one in every automotive spin on style filter I've ever seen and taken apart.
  20. Oil Change situation

I would bet at minumum the bypass valve is not set for what pressure the voodoo engine runs at. Probably would be open most of the time.
