its some sort of damper that installed on the rear differential mounting bolts. Im guessing its for damping vibrations or killing noise? I think ford added those in 2018

I ended up installing the 3.73 torsen into my 2019 ecoboost M/T yesterday and I just ended up swapping the flanges between the diffs

Hey I have a differential that I just pulled out of my 2019 ecoboost with only 8k miles on it. Has an iron housing and OEM 3.31 gears. Was running perfectly before pulling it from car to install a torsen with 3.73s. This would be perfect for a boosted gt. Get your taller gears and a iron case...
Not quite true. From everything ive found, including my 19 mt ecoboost, only the mt gt using the flange that comes on this diff. Everything else uses the auto flange

I think the amount of air the motor pulls through the grille far exceeds what it could pull through the hood vents. The hood vents are there to help hot air gear get pulled from the engine bay
