Depends on what tire width you want to fit. I'm seeing a ~5 second difference in the simulator between PP1 in PP2 on a ~1:50 sec track.
The only difference between the car models are the wheel/tire width (255/275 vs 305/305).
5 seconds is a lot, people can spend insane money for gains like...
I've used both on track and on the street. Though I'm not sure that the "stock" pads that you get at the dealer are the same that the car comes with.
TrackDay Powerstops are even dustier than stock PP pads and they squeak like crazy. They have narrower effective range but once you get them to...

Even though I'm using the phone's GPS...
I have the Ford Performance Short Throw Shifter in my 2018 GT and I'm quite happy with it. I went with FP because of warranty concerns.
Though I haven't driven Barton or MGW so can't compare to those, but comparing to stock it's night and day. I used to miss 3rd gear on the track all the time -...
The GT500 is rumoured to have 10R80 as an option.
Actually, if money is not a problem, 500 may be another viable option for OP: get the GT now and if it's not 'special' enough, trade it for 500 in a year.
This is a great write up and I love the videos, but... Like others already alluded to: a true torture test would be a track day where you're trying to set competitive lap times. With everything being strain to the max - from tires, brakes, liquids, to transmission and engine - lap after lap...
