Lacanteen, Excellent logic! I believe your process at least eliminated a key hidden in my car as the source. With all of my keys (3) in a steel pot 50 feet from the car, at least it would not start and "No Key Detected" was posted (properly). I suppose the source is software or door wiring...

Thank you Farkel!! Yes, that worked! But for me, this workaround is aggravatingly counter-intuitive. I might as well have tried shifting gear or unlocking the doors. :cool:

One day, the Trip/Fuel Info display just stopped working. When it's selected, the whole info area goes blank/black. All the other displays available in "settings" are accessible and work fine. Any clues on fixing? (As I don't see how to show my particulars on this thread, I should point out...
