  1. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

Nope. Mine is straight at the yellow. That one looks like a 45° bend at the yellow so it's different than what I have. But when I asked the dealer for a 2017 gt dipstick the new one they gave me was also straight at the top
  2. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

No pinstamper or laser etcher at work. Also I did slot of research on the forums and Shaun at AED was the most recommended on the forums so I went with him. I heard great things about wengerd too
  3. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

Yes I am tuned by Shaun at AED. I'll have to do some research into the dipstick to see if it applys to gen 2.
  4. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

The carface lists it as happening 6-29-2019 and I forget the miles but I know it was under 20k miles. And it was done at levittown Ford according to Carfax so it was done by Ford.
  5. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

What would it be though? A 9 quart? Wouldn't make sense, 9 was reading overfull so it's it def not 9 or 10 and why would anyone swap for. An 8 to an 8.5? Not sure but whenever I get a chance I'll grab those photos. ATM I'm omw to the doctors because I just got really bad sun poisoning
  6. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

Yeah I linked that before when I mentioned others having the same issue as me. Which makes me wonder if it's less about my rebuilt engine and more just random Ford issues.
  7. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

I'll do some digging into the gen 3 dipstick. from what I found from Ford 1 quart per 1k miles is deemed acceptable which is wild. Anyways, I know exactly where the dipstick read after the oil was drained and refilled again. And I put a kit 90 miles on it so far (it'll be parked for a other day...
  8. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

It has nothing additional oil wise than a stock gen 2 performance pack except a wix xp filter but that would be a marginal difference if at all in capacity. Not sure how size compared to OEM
  9. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

I'm confused, where did 8.8 come from the previous smkmage shows 8 which is also what I see in the manuals I find online.? Also I'm not sure it matters but I use a wix xp filter. Iirc its physical a bit bigger than whatever I removed originally from the previous owner. Don't know how it compares...
  10. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

Can clarify that for ya, I did indeed change the pcv. I did that when I did the catch can about a year ago which is why I highly doubt it's the pcv. Also the work was done by a very reputable dealership, levittown Ford. It's a dealer installed engine and since it was at 15k miles or around there...
  11. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

That's the exact way I've always changed my oil too. Exact amounts never work since engines vary. Engine was replaced according to Carfax 06/29/2019 so gen 3 should have been available. But 9 quarts read overfull on the dipstick so 10 would def be overfull so I'm thinking it's not that. Also gen...
  12. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

It's WELL below the lowest hole/add oil line, see my other reply to Greg. I even had the dealer so the oil.
  13. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

So now it's back at 8 and not 7.7. you keep changing it up. Either way I just went out and bought a other 1 quart measuring cup. Drained my filter and all oil. Reinstalled filter and verified dipstick tune is not loose and is fully seated. Put In EXACTLY 8 quarts not a drop more not a drop less...
  14. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

Not a dipstick issue. Already replaced the stick but it's 100% identical to the old one read my reply about how going by the dipstick has worked for a track guy I know for 342k+ miles which means he fills up over 8qts to get to where the dipstick says it should be. That's a time proven test...
  15. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

I believe the root of the problem is a different batch engine (made at a entirely different time since it's a reman engine) so specs are a bit different as tooling wears. But checking in with dealerships and the like they all said to run the extra oil to make the dipstick read within the...
  16. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

Oh trust me the thermal is coming off for an awe system. Now that the thermals broken in it sounds like absolute dogshit and it drones worse than the straightpipe did. Like holy hell it'll give you a wicked headache on a long drive it's a incessant drone that never shuts up unless you go real...
  17. Missing oil after spirited driving no leaks or smoke.

Here's some food for thought. You have people who have the same car but their dipsticks read full at different points. Full dipsticks at 7.5 at the top full hole, some at 8 being full. Others fill at 8.5 and some where the dipstick doesn't read full until 9quarts. That's a 1.5 variation on Gen 2...
