I guess having multiple options and picking the best product for your money is a bad thing these days....We should all buy the first shiny thing that comes along without comparing it to its competitors...
I'm not being sarcastic. I genuinely feel you have no right to tell anyone on this board what car they should buy, why they should buy it or what justification is required for the model they pick...There really isn't any sarcasm in that position and my intent with those statements isn't to be...
Well the 350 isn't out so I'm not sure how he tracks it unless he has the past revision.
In addition who are you to judge what I do with my car and for what reasons...LOL! If I want it to sit in a garage and wipe it down with a diaper then I'm your huckleberry fin. If I want to take it to car...
You would think wanting the extra track focus of the GT350 was a bad thing on this forum. I'm amazed that the idea of wanting a more focused and better track performing car is being questioned and the motives behind it belittled on a performance enthusiast board...I swear it's like I've wandered...
Oh law here we go...As long as you are not racing against other cars and it isn't timed it's not considered racing. Take that how you want to take it...I can think of plenty of club events and hot laps that could fall outside of the guidelines of racing...
Racing voids the warranty...Tracking does not necessarily void the warranty. LOL we've already had a gozillion page thread on this. lets please not rehash it.
You may be right...feel free to post up the track times by Randy around Willow. I've not looked at Dodge so I'm not going to state one way or the other.
I didn't say the 1le was superior in every aspect. In fact I said the GT PP beat it in the quarter...I'm not sure how that equals superior in...
LOL...I m not sure what is going on anymore either. I need to go to bed! ;)
I think the GT and GT pp would smash the SS. The Mustang is miles ahead of the Camaro in too many categories to count. The Mustang GT pp is not there in the categories I want, however. It's a first revision on a brand...
We don't know how much the GT350 is going to cost. We don't know if a set of tires and shocks will match the 1le. We do know that any mod can impact the warranty. If you feel the tires and shocks will do the trick then it's the right decision for you.
I've said it before the GT PP is...
Ughh ok..We've been discussing track cars and performance and the associated rawness on numbers and you bring in a drag car...And who is all over the place again?
The two cars were tested head to head on the same day and by the same driver...Not really sure what you are looking for. Randy's...
Well I don't understand how you feel it's confusing that we are different types of buyers and I'm looking for something different than you are. I've CLEARLY stated what I'm looking for in numerous different ways so I'm not sure what you don't understand. I want a track car for a DD and...
The current 235 is 3500 not the M2 variant...I'm hoping we see a couple hundred pounds shed...Again if it isn't on par it's not a contender. I've had my hopes dashed before (see GT PP). I won't ever buy into the hype again. Half the hype wasn't even Fords fault so shame on me..;)
I never said I wasn't going to track the car. I said it wasn't going to be a dedicated track car. Not all cars that go to the track are dedicated track cars and have roll bars, right?
What do you think the percentage of Gt3, 1le, Z28, etc owners DD their cars...Do you think they ALL have giant...
Right and I'm not a candidate for the GT PP. If the GT350 comes in at 47-52k we are in the same ballpark as an M2. If it equals the track times of the 1le and the GT350 it's a logical competitor. We don't know if it will and that's why I said its a wait and see. The 235 is putting up pretty...
YUP that's it...I guess the rest of the GT350, Z28, 1le crew will get together and talk about how big our egos are...That or we could just like the experience of driving a track focused cars. While we are at it lets call the guys with GT500s ego maniacs as well...I mean who NEEDS that for a...
LOL...I want a track car as a DD. I've driven cars set up for the track and I like them. I'm not so concerned about the discomforts and don't mind the sacrifice. We aren't all the same buying types. I'm not sure how or why that is so hard to understand. The GT350 section isn't empty so it...
Question...If there isn't an audience that likes the traits of a track car then why does Ford and Chevy build these types of cars? Do all of us have to want a buttery ride? Is it so horrible that some of us will sacrifice a cars ride (even if it's a DD) to enjoy the traits of this type of car?
