  1. Toyota Supra GR vs Mustang Shelby GT350

It seemed like a fair review and he summed up the pros and cons of each car well enough. It was a little hard to watch for me. The humor felt very forced and the audience with masks on felt like just a bunch of friends. Didn't really work for me. I like the head to head track stuff though...
  2. Is it me? Have used GT350 price jumped up lately?

I know we are all guessing here, but even just a few months ago that same car would be much less due to mileage and your $42K budget would have afforded a 2017 or very low mileage 2016. I can't predict the future but I think if you can wait a few months and into winter you will see prices drop...
  3. Toyota Supra GR vs Mustang Shelby GT350

I have seen several in person and sat in one. I don't mind the design, it's unique for sure but at least Toyota did something unique and not boring/vanilla. My biggest issue was getting in and out of the car. Due to the design and low door height you have to twist your neck and it'a a little...
  4. Is it me? Have used GT350 price jumped up lately?

It's COVID. You had manufacturers stop building vehicles for months and now major supply issues resulting in far fewer cars available. You also have record number of people moving from big cities and no longer wanting to take mass transit and there is a big run on used cars. Most dealers...
  5. Is it me? Have used GT350 price jumped up lately?

Yeah it's nuts. I love my car but I am thinking about selling it if I can get what I paid for it in November ($49K). I just found out that I will not be driving back into work until Jan-Feb next year at the earliest. Seems silly to pay insurance, car payments, etc on a car I will only drive...
  6. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Yes you can, and yes it will help with the stock system. If you Google mustang6g forscan eq You will see tons of hits and can read through the threads. It’s pretty straightforward. RollOff Disable: in the ACM tab 727-01-02 x*xx xx 0=EQ Selection #0, 1=EQ Selection #1, 2=EQ Selection #2...
  7. Is it me? Have used GT350 price jumped up lately?

I don’t think dealers are discounting new GT350’s as much as they were even a few months ago. I’m guessing if you can get one below $60K now (assuming loaded) you are lucky. GT350 inventory for used and new is drying up.
  8. Has anyone installed a Rockford Fosgate DSR1?

This is all normal. Does your amp have lights? Maybe watch for them to turn off after your car goes to sleep. I’m not sure if you can reprogram via Forscan if it really bugs you.
  9. Purchasing a used gt350 soon, answer my questions?

Well buying a new car is not always straightforward either. Some brand new cars have sustained damage that had very shoddy repair (or no repair) and then not disclosed and sold as brand new. Example of this on the forum today. We also have seen brand new 19's and 20's with under 1K miles have...
  10. Any chance this is normal? Picking up car, not looking good.

Car dealerships suck. They should have been open with you on the issues and defects on the car before you traveled all the way out there. It's why you cannot trust anything when buying a car even if brand new.
  11. Purchasing a used gt350 soon, answer my questions?

Make sure the car has not been tuned or has aftermarket powertrain modifications that could result in warranty denial. Check with Ford to make sure there is no warranty flag on the car before you buy. Try to get an Oasis report on the car. Get the car inspected by a third party for any...
  12. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Have you tried using Forscan to flatten the EQ from the head unit?
  13. Would you trade 350r for F-150

I think that's smart. Also I would wait a few more years on the Bronco. First year problem and dealers will want full MSRP and possibly ADM. In 2-3 years there will be big incentives and lots of used one available.
  14. Would you trade 350r for F-150

Only you can really know if going from a GT350R to a truck will be satisfactory. It's your money, but yeah your going to take a hit and the worst thing you can do is roll negative equity into another vehicle. I would make sure if you go through with this that you will be happy with the switch...
  15. what's the going rate for an oil change at a dealership?

It was a Subaru WRX/STI. It was not the dealer who wanted to see the log, receipts, pictures, it was Subaru corporate. WRX-STI EJ engines had many years of piston issues and oil starvation (sound familar?) and Subaru started cracking down on warranty work because they likely got tired of...
  16. Weird Stereo Glitch...

The stereo and speakers remain powered after you turn the car off for a period of time. It sounds like you may need to adjust your gain on your aftermarket amp, as it may reduce the crackling you hear.
  17. what's the going rate for an oil change at a dealership?

I would prefer DIY, but I have actually had issues in the past with getting warranty work done when I did my own oil changes. You better make sure if you go DIY that you have pictures, detailed service log, and keep all the receipts. That was the only thing that saved me.
  18. what's the going rate for an oil change at a dealership?

Everyone out here in CT wanted $160-180+. I called every Ford dealer near me.
  19. GT350 Engine Concerns...

I think you are really gambling if you do a tune with these cars. Yes, some have had Ford replace it, but it's just as easy for them to deny it too. Not worth the minimal gains. Only way I would run a tune is if I went Supercharger/Turbo and then I would do it right and beef up the engine and...
  20. Alignment recommendations for minimizing tramlining

Before you go out replacing tires try the $79 Steeda Gtrac light brace. I put it on my GT350 and it significantly reduced tramline. There is still some, but I would say 70% reduced.
