I had an 04 STi as well, this isn't close to as jarring as that was.. and yeah I'm more confident in my GT350 which is saying a lot for a RWD car.

If the M2 was out when the GT350 came out it would have been a dilemma for me. I was a huge fan of the 1M, and the M series in general. I've been waiting for the M2, but I also love high revving V8s. I'll keep my GT350 and I love it, but I will always admire the M2 from afar.

I think my reaction comes from shifting at redline and power not dropping off.. between the feel and the sound it is unreal, probably my fav moment in the car.
