Hey, Phlyguy, where did you get those awesome stripes? They look great on your Ruby Red.

I use a Generac gas pressure washer #6595, 2,500 PSI. Plenty of pressure without damaging the paint (or blowing off the decals.) It seemed to be the best price/PSI for the job. Works great with the CG Cannon.

Finally got a chance to give Patience a proper bath (using Chemical Guys MTM Next Generation Professional Foam Cannon & Honeydew Snow Foam Cleanser.) Fun afternoon. Unfortunately it was dark by the time I finished, so no clean photo, and it is going to rain later today :tsk:

I like this. I don't think the plenum covers get that hot. Lots of pictures online of wraps and carbonfiber. Not sure, but I think it is doable, perhaps as a wrap.

I was thinking more like these, but I don't have your ability to make them look like they are actually on the engine (instead of floating over the top.) What do you think? I included the graphic that I used in case you want to give it a go.

Thanks to your post Duttch I just removed mine as well, also with a hot hair dryer. I used Goo-Gone for the little big of residue left behind. Also took 10 minutes. Biggest challenge was convincing my wife to let me use the hair dryer :rant: Looks so much better and now my car smells like...

The can is black, but almost completely hidden under the radiator cover. My top bracked is polished stainless and looks nice. Don't remember if that was an upgrade. The top bracket in the installation video is black.
