  1. Leaked GT500 Pics and specs from dealer meeting today!

Looked better. I prefer the 15-17 front end overall, but I think this front end looks terrible compared to the 18-19 GT.
  2. Ford Mustangs at the 2018 SEMA Show

Really like the spoiler on the R and just about everything except the flares look good on the grey and gold one. Does anyone know what hood that is?
  3. Ford Mustangs at the 2018 SEMA Show

I need a widebody, but not a 6 inch widebody... okay?! Someone please develop a 3 inch widebody that doesn't look like a shotgun shitzu so I can run 12-13 inch wheels. Thanks.
  4. Leaked GT500 Pics and specs from dealer meeting today!

So why then would they reveal it to the dealers, leading to these abhorrent "leaked" photos? I mean, a lot of real buyers (including myself) are already looking to pull the triggers on other cars based on this... Is that supposed to be okay?
  5. Leaked GT500 Pics and specs from dealer meeting today!

So, Ford has still yet to reveal the car. That leads me to believe these images are fake, or they are considering cancelling the car.
  6. Ford Mustang ads banned in UK!

The real tragedy in modern society is that people have lost all sense of nuance. This commercial certainly has some strong overtones that suggest that driving your mustang is a good outlet, or form of anger management. Perhaps you can take issue with the approach to marketing, but to equate that...
  7. Leaked GT500 Pics and specs from dealer meeting today!

Doesn't seem to matter. This car looks completely tacked together, like a rocauto aftermarket special. Yes, they could be the absolute worse pics ever, but this looks seriously bad.
  8. Leaked GT500 Pics and specs from dealer meeting today!

Could be the worst pictures ever... and they are, but ewwww. Guess who's buying a corvette?
  9. 2019 GT500 Mustang New Spy Video, Pics, Info

Time to start saving for that adm lol
  10. C&D Lightning Lap 2018 Results for GT PP2

I find it hilarious that people are still complaining about lack of track specific coolers on sub-$100k stock vehicles. It's not like you can't fix the issue for less than the cost of a set of tires. 10 years ago none of these cars had diff coolers.
  11. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

Yep. From what I hear, they had to rewrite a significant portion of the ECU firmware to allow it. In reality, it's not just a tune, but an entirely new program on which the tune is based. But pay no attention to the technical details, I think people on here are just pissed off because they...
  12. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

That explanation is quite plausible. I'm guessing they mounted directly to the factory throttle body and headers which would be the equivalent of running a ram air intake (no filter) and straight pipes. Perhaps worth 25hp give or take?
  13. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

Socratic method people. Which situation is more likely? That a world class racing firm with substantial R&D resources is committing fraud to sell a few tunes, or that they figured something out that much smaller outfits couldn't?
  14. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

I'm going to ignore the first paragraph, as I explicitly said exactly what I meant. As to the second, it's not an adjustment for direct injection, it's actually tuning the direct injection itself, which (fully utilized) is as different from tuning port fuel injection as port fuel injection is...
  15. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

Finally, someone figured out how to tune the DI correctly. To those calling foul, I will remind you how miserably low the gen 3 coyote's output is considering the addition of DI and such substantial revisions. If you are willing to accept that Ford may have seriously under-tuned the gen 3, these...
  16. 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang leaked specs: 720HP @ 7500 RPM, 650 ft-lbs @ 4500 RPM, 4225lbs curb weight

Perhaps that's the talk on forums, but when I drive through my neighborhood and look at what people have parked in their driveways, corvette and shelby buyers are one in the same. They tend to trade back and forth depending on which model is more current. There is even one guy who traded his...
  17. 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang leaked specs: 720HP @ 7500 RPM, 650 ft-lbs @ 4500 RPM, 4225lbs curb weight

That's not a fact. As previously stated, the GT500 has never had a direct competitor. Ford sets the benchmarks. No other considerations exist.
  18. 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang leaked specs: 720HP @ 7500 RPM, 650 ft-lbs @ 4500 RPM, 4225lbs curb weight

It's based on historical precedence, which is often the most reliable evidence.
  19. 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang leaked specs: 720HP @ 7500 RPM, 650 ft-lbs @ 4500 RPM, 4225lbs curb weight

I quote directly from the S197 full chassis system product page, "Light Weight, Easy Access: The complete GR40 system saves considerable weight and opens up space in the engine compartment as well, making working on the car a breeze. Using GR40 aluminum spindles and Griggs 13.5” Sport Brake...
  20. 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang leaked specs: 720HP @ 7500 RPM, 650 ft-lbs @ 4500 RPM, 4225lbs curb weight

All this talk of how ridiculously heavy these cars have gotten seriously makes me consider picking up a '14 gt500 and throwing in a full Griggs Racing suspension. That would subtract another 250 lbs and make it an absolute track monster, outclassing all of these cars for substantially fewer $
