I'm at 4,000 miles on the factory oil in my 19 GT and I plan to change the oil when the oil life monitor tells me I'm at around 30%. Right now she's at 47%. It won't hurt anything to change it sooner as there's no magic to the factory filled oil, but with that said my 5.0 is quiet and...
I run Waze and a Uniden R7. The trick to minimizing false alarms is setting up the detector for what you need it to detect in your area. In most states, KA is almost all you need. This will get rid of a-lot of falses, most of those are caused by Honda's and Acuras with radar systems leaking out...
Had the same issue and doing the update via USB did fix it. Problem is, the connection over wifi is rather slow and the update is a pretty big one so it never has enough time to get the whole thing over wifi. Once I was updated, I turned off automatically search for updates and look for wifi...
I just got back from a 1,000 mile road trip over 3 days up to the White Mountains in NH and learned a lot about the power delivery of my stock '19 GT PP1 A10. While the 5.0 is an amazing engine and makes nice power across the RPM range compared to normal cars, there's a distinct power band that...
Can't speak for the OP but the one I used (and that the J28 website will guide you to if you filter on S550 Stang) is a 10". For me it's a perfect length for where I have my detector, up high next to the mirror. If you want to use a blend mount another inch or two I think might help depending on...
I'm coming up on 3,000 miles and my oil life indicator is showing 57%. Fully intend to chang my own and make sure it gets done right. Will probably wait till 40% and go with 5w-30 mobil 1. Also want to send a sample out to Blackstone to have it analyzed. might as well, I already have a kit...
We have the same exact build down to the Steeda H-pipe (not installed yet) but I went with Steeda hood struts. 2,800 trouble free miles on mine, not a daily but she gets plenty of exercise on the weekends. Cool to see someone with the exact same build
Decided last minute to go on Saturday as well and looking forward to my first trip out there. For those that have been before, what is the procedure to register at the event for the showfield?
I'm knocking on 50's door so felt I could throw my 2 cents in. I'm not opposed to black wheels and like they way they look paired with many Mustang colors but for me that was just the problem. Black wheels are EVERYWHERE these days (especially the PP1 wheels) and I just didn't want a car that...
I'd add that you also get used to it. I came into the game late with my 2019 GT after driving SUV's for years. I know many of you guys have worked up through various muscle cars, so for you it’s probably more about how the S550 delivers the power but when I finally smashed the loud peddle on...
The mileage would bug me more than the glass but it's to be expected to some extent on a car that traveled that far to get to you. Either way, it's a beautiful car and I love the wheels obviously! Get the glass changed, don't sweat the milage and then enjoy the hell out of her.
Mine came from...
You can totally get this to work but the down side is you’ll have the sport plus display in every mode. Select the sport plus gauge appearance separately, then configure your mymode settings as you described. I have mine set up with the sport plus display, sport exhaust and normal suspension.
Mine was built on Wednesday, 10/17/18. No wonder I don't have the tick!!
Agree with some of the others though, for $1,100 get the 19. That 18 already has a full year of depreciation on it, forget about the 97 miles, which is not that big deal. If they'll do $4,000+ better on the 18 then I...
Keep up with what you're doing on the break in till 1,000 miles. Easy driving, vary the RPM's, no full throttle and let everything warm up fully before getting on it at all. I've never liked the look of caliper covers. A lot of folks have had nice results with G2 brake caliper paint kit...
Can't speak to the technology and what is actually happening where the rubber hits the road but my seat of the pants opinion: potholes and uneven pavement feel less harsh in my magnaride GT than they do in other cars. Same roads compared to a Grand Cherokee with air suspension and an Infiniti...
I had to factory order mine, it took 6 months to build but I got exactly what I wanted. The Magnaride caused a delay twice and then the wheels slowed me down for a week or two. You're not imagining the combo you want is hard to find, it can be tough and we're getting close to the end of the...
