  1. Can We Talk About the V6?

Boy that didn't take long !:D I'm going to try and slowly integrate the 6sp into the family routine..... worst case (and its not bad), I get to drive it all by myself !
  2. Can We Talk About the V6?

This is an interesting thread. I love the V-8 6spd 50th pkg that I bought. The engine trans combo and the feeling of driving the car thru the gears is really enjoyable. The problem is, it isn't really fitting in well with the family. My wife is scared to drive it and my son (unbelievably)...
  3. Rock Chip Fix?

I have found that the color match on Dr. Color chip is really good and I have used it on 3 cars. The problem is that when you rub off the excess using their product, it sometimes removes the color you have applied to the chip. It sometimes takes 2 or 3 tries to do it.
  4. Anybody else order this Covercraft Block-It 380 Car Cover?

The block It 200 is very light and easy but it is really meant for inside storage. This is my 3rd one ( different cars ).
  5. MRT Hood Struts

Thanks Redline, but could you post a close up picture of how the passenger side strut mounts near the battery cover .
  6. Anybody else order this Covercraft Block-It 380 Car Cover?

I have the 200 cover and the emblem is on the front. I also wished it was on the hood.
  7. Rear window cleaning

Anyone know an easy way to clean the inside ? There is not much room back there and it has a heavy rake. I don't think my dealer ever cleaned it.
  8. Easy/exit entry

I just checked my settings and didn't see this. Is it just cars with memory pkg or the 401a ? I had this function on my vet and it was nice.
  9. Base model owners - what do you think?

I was going to get a base GT with cloth Recaros..... Then swap out the wheels and tires for a nice set of 19's...all this would have brought the price close to my no option GT 50th...... That being said, I would go with the base and dress it up. I really don't see the leather seats holding up well.
  10. Jeans staining ceramic leather?

The black may hide the dirt better but I can see it will wear easily. I have resorted to making a simple seat cover to protect the bolster. Go buy a light colored bath towel that is close to the ceramic color. At the top of the towel, sew a 6 inch piece of elastic. Drape the towel over the seat...
  11. Competition Orange Full Paint Correction

OP ,,, when you were going over the car multiple times, did you see any tiny chips ? Almost like paint bubbles that popped?
  12. Base model owners - what do you think?

This...... I sometimes cherish my cars too much.... there are collectables and drivers, and I really think that cars these days are made to last no more than 10 years, because they want you to buy another. I liked certain things on the 50th package, but wish Ford would let you order options...
  13. If the Key FOB goes dead

How do you start the car? ...The wife asked me and after reading the manual, I don't have the answer. I know how to unlock the door, but how about starting it up ?
  14. Battery tender ?

Got a pic of the permanent hook ups ? I didn't see how mine could be attached due to the lack of terminal end bolts.
  15. 2015 Leather is Paper Thin...

So are they going to give you an entire new cover or just "spot " repair the section? Keep us posted cause I can for see bolster issues.
  16. 2015 Leather is Paper Thin...

Do you remember what that interior warranty cost?
  17. Body/paint issues

    How big are the bubbles?
  18. How many keys did you get?

This is starting to tick me off. The dealer is "The Largest Mustang" dealer in Pa. and not only do they lose one of my keys....there was no mention of the glove box key.
  19. Battery tender ?

There are different schools of thought on how much gas you put in the tank. Generally you don't want the gas to sit for more than 30 days. I never put more than 6-7 gallons in the tank at a time this time of year.
  20. Battery tender ?

Yes ! I tried to connect mine last week but the battery cables/connections don't support the permanent connections so you will probably need to use the alligator type The cover also needs to be removed to get to the battery.
