I essentially have the same mods as you but in an 18 with an A10. Launching at the track or roll racing from a low gear is the only time these would come into play... saying that do they handle the power fine? Would you think about getting the R's in the future/next time?
What is your theory on this or is it just to simply try something different? Also, you mentioned "advance track off," is this PP specific? I have a premium, I can put it in "drag mode" but I thought just by doing that it turned off traction all together?
I see many members running the M/T 305/35/17's but which are the ET Street R's or S/S? Seems like R's would be more beneficial. Any point out to me the best place to purchase either?
Also, I plan on getting some 17x10's- what offset will work for my 18 gt?
At normal highway speeds 65-75, how is your transition from D to S or S back to D? I ask because from my experience its not as smooth as it should be, I'm sure its normal but I feel/hear it more than I think I should.
What are some reputable options/brands? Also, what is the difference in sizing? I'm assuming the bigger the better? Goal is to keep it NA, I know that makes a diff sometimes as well.
Do you guys shift from D to S while in motion or at a complete stop? Does it matter?
I go from D to S in motion often or D to S+/Drag/Track as well.
How many miles do you have on your car?
New to the Ford world- I'm not looking for top of the line or the cheapest either.
I'm aware that cat-less is the best way to go power wise but is a set up with cats worth it? I plan on getting an intake, headers, tune. I already have an X pipe and axle back.
Also- are both options "bolt...
Car has ~700 miles on it.
From 24-36 hours after warm up, going from P to R I can feel/hear it. It doesn't sound bad but is it supposed to be that loud and I'm supposed to feel it that much? I can still feel/hear it after a day of work 8 hours but not as much.
My '18 GT came with stock 20's- I want to run 305/xx/17 or 19 in the rear with the OEM's in the front.
-Should I go with the 17x10 or 19x10?
-What offset?
