annoying that middle of dash gauges are not angled towards driver. Also I'm on the shorter side and I wish instrument surrounds had a lower edge at the bottom so easier to see temp gauge and fuel gauge. Love the sound and the shifter. Overall it's a winner

some people over inflate the tires to like 50 psi and put on carpet squares or tire keepers or some such.. I have always just parked mine on the concrete with normal air pressure and never had flat spots. YMMV

I like the Golf R a lot. Lot of fun to drive and does great in the snow. Mine is a 12. Almost got a new one but got too many other new toys and wanted to wait and see how RS compared to R. Having a hard time not getting a new R or RS though. Maybe in a few years. Wife will need a new car...
