It's not much. Maybe a couple of pounds
NO it hasn't on my car
Well it tightens things up and like said before it get's rid of the flex that the thin stock links have.
Thanks David@Steeda, I'm going to be heading down to Florida with the car in a couple of months to visit my father who lives in Naples. I was thinking of bringing the remaining parts to see if you guys would install them as well as do lowering springs and alignment.
Yes I did. I was also on jack stands and using a jack. It was a little bit of a pain to do. But if you keep working it you will get. I had to break out a mallet and other tools to get it to go in.
So a few months ago i bought the steeda Stop hop kit. I didn't get around to putting things on until now. As i was going through the 5 different parts that make up the kit. I noticed that most need to have an alignment done after. Since i want to do lower springs in a few months i am waiting...
I been going to this event for years. I definitely going but not sure if I'm going bring my 91 GT race car, or my 15 GT, or try and get both there.
Here is a video someone made
I got this shot from Carlisle. There was a few others from the S550 class. For some reason i can only post it from a screen shot and not what i actually took off my phone
No mine wasn't blacked out. It was a black 2nd gen though. For some reason i can't post pictures from my phone. I have pictures on my Facebook racing page. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1033898943368862&id=181779201914178
I was there but with my SVT Lightning. I'll probably be taking the S550 next year. But i been going to this event for a few years now. It's a really good time
Car does not have a tune in it. I'm using a Roush Cai with the sleeve in it. Which does not require a tune. So i am still on the original factory tune.
Has anyone had this problem. The car has been sitting outside all week in the rain. Started it for the first time this morning and this happened. It did it once before after a few days of rain last year also. But wasn't able to grab a code then. This time i was able to grab a code.
Lightning blue looks better in real pictures. When the new colors were first posted i didn't like the color. But now that i see it on a real car under light it looks good.
