19 whipple stage 2. The first tune whipple made for the 19s works on my car. The new revisions they have for the 19s throw misfire codes on my car. Just ordered a new fuel system going to go e85 and custom tune don't want to gamble with the whipple tune and 93 octane any longer.
Switching the plugs around worked. the new update tune works on my car. This tune is definitely not as powerful as the first tune i recieved though. I definitely can tell a difference in the power between the two.
The first tune they gave me works fine so im assuming everything is hooked up fine. Just none of the revisions they've sent me have worked. I just got the new tune in the email 5 minutes ago so I'm going to go try it and see what happens.
Yes last week. I was told probably Monday id have it. Still don't have it. My car is also stuck on the 1st calibration none of the other tunes have worked they have sent me. They also suggested that i may have something hooked up wrong (the imrc) apparently the instructions were wrong that went...
After driving my car today with the new 19 tune revision i discovered it has some issues. Transmission was acting real quirky and wouldn't downshift when Id go wide open throttle and just felt like shit. I reloaded the original tune and the car drove normal again. I sent whipple an email to let...
Is this loading the new tune on a 19 when i get this screen or is this just a different update thats not the tune? Also where is the valet mode tune located? Is this only 18's that have the valet tune so far?
Only difference I can tell is the long start isn't as bad as it was when starting the car. The drivability of the Whipple tune is very good and much better than my Lund tune that I had on the car
Make sure you guys check your tranny fluid. I saw a thread in the Driveline forum about low fluid in the transmissions and I checked mine and sure enough mine was low two quarts. Pretty pathetic Ford can't even fill the transmissions properly from the factory.
