Not me. Changed to 5W30 for my 2020 Bullitt. It’s the same engine as the 2021 Mach 1. Ford would have a difficult time not authorizing a warranty problem based on anyone using 5W30 oil.

Sorry Voo Doo, I meant no offence. I just view the Bullitt as a very unique Mustang. Once you change that uniqueness, to me, it’s no longer a Bullitt. It’s just another modded Mustang. However, it’s your car and it looks great. Enjoy! Graeme

It certainly isn’t a Bullitt any longer. Eliminate the DHG and you’ve just got another moded Mustang GT. Nothing wrong with that if that’s the look you were after. Enjoy!!

One of the unique features of a Bullitt is that it only comes in a manual. Do you really want to destroy this unique feature?

I agree there have been a number of names for the dark green colour. Even the colour on the 68 Bullitt is a different shade of green than the current Bullitt. However, the colour green used for each reiteration of the Bullitt, including the 68 Bullitt is unique to the Bullitt to my eyes.

I agree from your picture, it look similar to DHG. I’ve seen a Bronco in this new green, it’s close, but not DHG. Use Bullitt owners are pleased that is not an exact match.

A unique car like the Bullitt riding on Mach 1 wheels, not for me. To each his own. Are you planning on Mach 1 emblems as well? Just kidding.

It’s a Bullitt, buy at best price you can get. You will love it. My opinion, it will hold it’s value much better than a Mach 1 and it looks a lot better than a Mach 1.

Congratulation and welcome to the club. By the way, the Bullitt colour is DHG, Dark Highland Green not Hunter Green.

I recommend 5W30 full synthetic. Don’t get to hung up on the brand, there are lots of good oil brands available. I use the standard Ford filter with Mobil 1 for my Bullitt.

I had a discussion with my dealership service manager about this very topic. Once I pointed out to him that the 2021 Mach 1 requires 5W30 and has the same engine as my 2020 Bullitt, he indicated I could use 5W30 and Ford would cover any warranty issues as long as there was no direct correlation...
