I originally hated black wheels as from a distance its looked like the vehicle was riding around on spare tires. Looks good up close in person, but from a distance or in most pics its "meh". But eventially I grew to like it enough that I bought a set of FR500 satin black replicas for my 2001 GT...
And those same people are the ones who probably dislike the "modern" aesthetic design of the 2015 who refuse to let go of the old school out dated styling.
Funny how things change. Back in the new edge days, the saleen and roush versions were so much cooler than a stock GT.
But now Ford got the shape of the 2015 so right, that it finally looks better than the other compaines special edition versions.
If the 5.0 is only about a hundred pounds heavier, thats fine by me. Ive been driving a 2001 gt with basic bolts ons for 11 years. This new car is going to be such a night and day difference in every way. Cannot wait.
Yeah that blacked out part of the grille with the first one looks mean as heck. Might steal that idea and do a black vinyl wrap on the front bumper when I get one.
Id have to see better pics of the red but it looks a bit too bright. I really would prefer and darker more burgundy red like the cadillac ats, those are classy. Most red interior are just a bit gaudy. The red stitching on the dash and steering wheel is great though.
Yeah no kidding, I can see the want for some to have smoked tails, but those clear ones are a monstrosity. Looks worse than uber cheesey Mitsubishi eclipse clear tails.
Ugh, after 10 years of the same zinc yellow mustang ownership, I can certainly say my 2015 5.0 will not be yellow.
Magnetic or blue. Possibly guard depending how it looks once I can see it in person.
