  1. GRABBER BLUE METALLIC S550 MUSTANG thread

Here I was, all happy with my 2020, then this thread comes along. Ughh, now I have to convince myself why I don’t need a grabber blue car, especially now that you can get one in a Mach 1 with a Tremec manual.
  2. ALL ITEMS PENDING PICK UP: Ford Mustang S550 items for sale

Ugh. I’m interested in the trunk mat, but NC is a long way from Detroit.
  3. My winter warrior

I think it’s actually the opposite. I leave my salt covered cars out of the garage until I’ve been able to clean them off. https://www.leonsautobody.com/news/parking-garage-winter-can-damage-car/#.YhBgZyROmEc
  4. My winter warrior

Now that’s how you live life 1/4 mile at a time!
  5. New 2021 Mustang 5.0 owner

I’m glad to hear this. The car is just too fun to baby. I definitely used the go pedal a lot when it was new. I’ve only got 3k miles now from the first summer, but the 5.0 sounds great after a ā€œvigorousā€ break in.
  6. CYBER ORANGE S550 MUSTANG Thread

I was interested in a twister orange mustang with the black roof. I ended up with an iconic silver because it was the only 2020 manual left in Michigan at the time. What I really like about my Bronco’s look is the contrast between the yellow-orange and the black. I think cyber orange would look...
  7. CYBER ORANGE S550 MUSTANG Thread

Did someone say Bronco? I bucket washed mine the other day to get the salt off. Thus, my Iconic Silver Mustang is hibernating. I like the Cyber Orange on the Bronco. I haven’t seen it in person on a Mustang yet though.
  8. If you were buying a stripped GT with one option what would it be?

    This? https://www.steeda.com/ford-performance-m-fr-m8a-s550-track-handling-pack?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7eTvrdrz9QIVvfLjBx1XDgMyEAQYAyABEgLZefD_BwE
  9. Looking to Make the Jump t a S550 GT Premium - Need Some Advice

Everyone keeps saying how much they don’t like the MT-82 D4. Compared to the Tremec in my ā€˜89 Mustang GT it’s pretty awesome. From what I’ve read on here during my extended lurking, I could do some suspension and wheel upgrades to make highway on ramps a bit more fun. I subscribe to the theory...
  10. Looking to Make the Jump t a S550 GT Premium - Need Some Advice

I’m a big fan of the spare wheel, the premium floor liners, and the enhanced security package. I don’t want to wait on a flat tow, have to stress about the crap my kids drag in the car, or worry about someone stealing my catalytic converter. Mine was a leftover 2020 GT with 401A and pretty much...
  11. Ford’s new idea to keep manuals alive. No Thanks.

Better than nothing with an electric car. No bueno if it replaces a mechanical clutch with drive by wire though.
  12. Dealer Complaint (Bad Practice/Mark-Up/+++)

The issue I see is ordering the car in the name of a customer against their wishes. Ford oftentimes requires an actual customer behind a dealer order. Thus, the dealer looks to be using the OP’s information to get a car for themselves. Seems sketchy at best. I see on Bronco forums people...
  13. 10 Bullitt's on Vroom right now.

I definitely missed that boat! I kept looking for a reasonably priced Bullitt in Detroit, but I never found one. I’m certainly happy with my silver 2020 GT, and I appreciate the adaptive cruise. However, I thought the green looked really good. Wouldn’t have been sad to have the extra suspension...
  14. Are Mustangs as delayed as Broncos?

I wasn’t sure how the steelies would look when I ordered them, but I’m really happy with them in the end. I got the Black Diamond with as few electronics as possible so I could fully use the convertible and removable doors without worrying about ruining stuff in the rain/mud. A lift might be in...
  15. Are Mustangs as delayed as Broncos?

The 2.3 HPP reviews that I’ve seen have been very positive. I drive my kids around a lot in my GT, but they are all still elementary school aged. Good luck! PS - I like my Mustang better than my Bronco although both are fun cars.
  16. Introduce yourself!!

I’ve been lurking since I picked up my 2020 Mustang GT (manual) this past spring. I’ve picked up some good information regarding the transmission and suspension on this site so thanks to everyone for that! Here’s a picture of my new Mustang. My old Mustang was a 1989 GT that I had back in...
