great to hear mate. Hope you get your pony ASAP!
I've been following the WWL tracker and it has always said Port Kembla.
Cumberland Ford, Blacktown NSW, are adamant the've organised for it to be offloaded in Brisbane, not Port Kembla, and delivered via Carmichael Ford in Townsville but...
Tarrax - to clarify, your car is on the Tijuca, unloaded in Brisbane, and shows on the Prixcar tracker?
I was living in Newcastle when I ordered the car, but now live in Townsville. Ford assured me it would be unloaded in Brisbane rather than Port Kembla but of course it hasn't been... and...
Sounds like he's trying to under promise and over deliver....
It doesn't make sense that a Sydney car would be offloaded in Melbourne then shipped to Port Kembla after the ship has already stopped in Port Kembla!
Quoting from that great sticky -
Port unloading:
After being unloaded from the...
I'm in the same boat (pardon the pun) and my car was built 5 weeks before yours!
I ordered the car from a Sydney dealership but have since moved to Townsville. Ford assured me it wouldn't be a problem to deliver and register the car in Townsville, however it looks like it is being delivered to...
Oh man thats awful IngotGT... my car was built 25th Feb and I was expecting it to be at the dock and booked on a boat by now.. but you've been waiting 7 weeks!
MustangMark, you and I are in the same boat re delivery time frame. Mine was built in 25/2, and should now be somewhere between the factory and the port. If only there was a way to track this stage... I'm watching the WW tracker pretty closely to see when it gets assigned to a ship. Enjoy!
I have walked around a customers Ecoboost here in Townsville on xmas eve, but couldn't touch as it was promised to somebody. They were overseas and their daughter was FaceTiming them so they could see their new car. There was quite a crowd!
I agree the car looks a million bucks
My...
Thanks for the offer Chris. I'm in Melbourne and Sydney next month so will try to tee up a test drive then. The car was originally ordered in Sydney and is still being delivered by that dealer (to Townsville) so will pay a visit to Cumberland Ford
Because I want one. It seems (I think) that you're in California, you may not be aware that the first Australian shipment of Mustangs was around 4 weeks ago. We have a 1-2 year waiting list.
Even now you can't really drive one - my local dealer does not have a demo vehicle at all. I believe...
I have ordered an ecoboost but not driven one yet.
Very pleased to hear you were impressed, and looking forward to driving one.
I am NOT looking forward to everyone asking "is it the V8?"
