I saw that review, that's why I picked them at a heavy discount as a temporary solution for this cold, wet spring. Will swap them for Cup2s for the summer, but so far I'm very happy with the Vorits.

Fitted PP2 wheels on my GT (Euro spec - PP1 equivalent): Tyres are Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R 305/30/19 squared.

According to this guy the PS4S lasts over a hundred laps on the Nurburgring. That's like 400 laps, easily a full season, on a regular track. That's why I don't bother looking for an alternative.

I've had a similar issue as OP on the track - loss of power around 6500 RPM after a few flying laps. The way I deal with it is I usually just back off and coast to the next lap. Also a cooling lap every 3 or 4 laps is enough to not run into the problem during the session. Lately I've been told...
