I heard the Mach1 ( Mach) EV connection from a Ford spokesperson on an internet car show. Also probably no coincidence the Mach-E debut was roughly same time the Mach 1 came out in 2021.

As I understand it FoMoCo had to use the "Mach" name plate for the E-Vehicle to comply with government regulation. In order to give us the Mach 1 there had to be an EV with the same name plate. So it wasn't that FoMoCo wanted to by choice give the "Mach" name to an EV. Not many people know this...

I'm not moved. At first glance it seems like Ford couldn't decide on the styling between the GTD and the GT500. Seems like people either love it or hate it. I don't hate it . Probably would like it better in person.

I just bought the same one yesterday from Hot Wheels.

The puddle light on my ecoboost stang years got loose and fell out on it's own. The tab broke on it's own. Ford mechanic said the vibrations of driving over various roads and the plastic becomes brittle. It does happen.

If the car is satisfactory in all the important mechanical ways and it's exactaly what you want I wouldn't let the back seat issue be a game changer. That can be re-stiched by a professional car upholestry service .
