I just got a set of Steeda camber plates in today. I ran my GT 100% stock. it only had 998 miles on it before going out on Sebring.
The edges of the front tires are not good.
It really needs camber.
Great photos. I was just at Sebring in FL last weekend doing a DE.
Did you Experience the hood wave/wobble at over 80 mph. I hit 120 and the hood was moving enough to be distracting.I have the same car. Magnetic PP with recaros.
I did a quick pull up to 6 k with 100 miles on it. Then went out on the Hiway and ran it 100 miles each night in 4th to 6th gear varying the RPM.. Also using the lower gears to get the RPMs up to 5 to 6 K.. but then decelerating to engine brake. Putting pressure on the rings both ways...
Thanks for the info and Video.
I have since done a few things with the car. I ran an Auto X last week and the car did very well. With traction control on I had no issues with unloading the rear end.
I just got back from running a Track day at Sebring. I now know what my next upgrade will be...
I know you are not suppose to lift in a corner. Or maybe I have been very spoiled by driving a BMW for the past decade.
Has any one experienced the car doing a 180 when lifting in a sweeper turn?
I know its a bit vague.. I am not talking about late braking. Just lifting off the gas.
I am going...
I am interested how you set them - IE rebound and Compression.
I wont put my set on for about 3 months.
I want to do a few track events with the stock suspension as a base line.
Will you be at the PBOC event at Sebring? If so I will see you there.
I am running my GT / PP 99%stock.
I want to get a baseline before upgrades happen.
I will be driving in the instructor group.. I think 200s..?
I recall running in a group with a Paxton car at Sebring in the summer. I recall heat being an issue and the car was not able to run full out for more than 15 min. Then had to go back to the pits and put fans in the engine compartment. I am just suggesting research heat generation and...
I have the 3 way adjustable ones. I got them on sale during Black Friday they are currently sitting on a shelf.
I have a track day in Jan ( Sebring) when I will run the car and record my lap times and G force with the car 99.9% stock.. Only brake pads will be updated.
I then will add the Coil...

I ordered the Roush 3 way Coil over kit last night. I will need a set of sway bars at some point.
I have a PP car.
I am looking for the numbers, The thickness of stock PPs vs the BMR ones. Plus the weights.
I assume that the camber bolts will work on the Roush struts..?
So I am searching for a thread the compares the material and size of the sway bars.
The PP ones are solid ? what size.
The Same for Steeda and BMR?
thanks
You may want to check your SPAM filters BMR.
Ive emailed 2 questions and not heard back, I have a shopping cart with a suspension kit at another site ready to order. But since I live in Tampa I wanted to give a local business my $$

This thread is just what I was looking for.
I just ordered a 2016 Gt with the PP and Recaros.
Ive done quite a few DEs at Sebring in BMWs plus run Chumpcar races in an E30 for the last 5 years.
My plan is to:. Run my 1st track event with only a Brake pad upgrade. Then change tires / rims. 2nd...
Great info thanks.. I have added the Trans mount to my list..
Spent the day on a plane with internet access, So I read most of the threads on suspension upgrades.
I will need to look at Steda and BMR.
Looks like my 1st track event will be in Jan since Dec is already sold out at Sebring.
I have the RE 11s on my Z3, they are great for Auto X. I agree they wear to fast for track days. I like to get 4 to 6 track days on a set of tires.
I plan to use the stock wheels and rims when on the street. I am guessing it will be a fun car and I will drive it a bit more on the street than I...
Hello group.
I just ordered a Magnetic GT with the Performance Pack and Recaros.
This car will be used on the street at times but mainly will be towed to the track for DE events.
I plan to modify the car in steps. Upgrade brake pads: I have used Carbontech and Porterfield in the past.
1st...
