I use google maps for navigation on my iPhone 6. If I connect it over HDMI, will I be able to get full screen navigation on the screen, like you demoed for Youtube and Netflix?
This post was made on 1/28, so it is now three months past when when this was supposed to be announced. I'm done waiting, I'll be buying the Moddiction unit as soon as it goes on sale. Very poorly handled on AM's part IMO.
I've been meaning to convert to the premium bumper too! Did you need any other parts other than the bumper cover and the valance? I'm hoping that most of the stuff from my base bumper can be swapped over.
That's a rip off. You can buy new take off sets of 4, complete with TPMS and tires on ebay or newtakeoff.com for $1200. See http://www.newtakeoff.com/2015_ford_mustang_gt_19_staggered_gloss_black_wheels.aspx
I did some googling and it looks like Raxiom gets their systems from Rosen, so it's likely to be the unit that has shown up on these forums before.
Here's a video of Raxiom's system for a Jeep: I assume that the UI will be similar. I wouldn't hold my breath for CarPlay/Android auto support...
I will vouch for Koons. I bought my base PP GT from them sight unseen (flew in to Baltimore from Vermont to pick up the car)
They honored their online price without any hassle at all, had no hidden fees and weren't pushy about extended warranties or any add ons. The best part is, they came in...
I disconnected the sound tube and stuffed a rag into it. I drove around for a couple of days like this and could not tell the difference, so I'm not sure why some people seem to hate it so much \_(ツ)_/¯ I do have Borla S types though so perhaps they're overpowering the sound tube.
I had the factory summer tires on for a few days when it went into the 20s, and I could feel that I had very little grip. Changing gears would cause the car to lurch slightly as the tires fought for traction. All seasons might be okay, as long as you follow the usual rules for winter driving...
On a normal day when it was dry, this would have been fine. A little aggressive, but heck, I've been worse. On this day, under these conditions, this was a very dangerous move. There had been freezing rain earlier in the day, followed by a few inches of snow. It was very, very slick and I saw a...
Here's my contribution: got cut off by an a*hole in a minivan and momentarily blinded while driving in the aftermath of a snow storm. I was in the leftmost lane because all other lanes were barely doing 45, and the left lane was doing 55 or so.
Not a whole lot of them up here in Vermont. I see only one other S550 on a regular basis driving around town. True to stereotype, every second car is a Subaru though :-)
