Easy fix, Flex fuel tune. Best of both worlds. Run E85, 93 or any combo of the 2. No flashing other tunes with different fuels. Just fill and go. Car adjusts. That's as KISS as if gets.
Steeda's "large wing trunk pop kit" will open the trunk all the way with that wing. In the winter time during cold temps it doesn't open as well but still better than the factory struts.
It seems like the quality of the MT-82 isn't consistent. Some have issues and some don't. When I got mine I had a little grinding going into third at lower RPM when it was cold. 3rd gear lockout at high RPM. Switched out the fluid and added the Blowfish bracket. Made a world of difference...
I've had the FP Swing and Gurney flap for a year now. The Gurney flap is rock solid. I wouldn't think a car wash would damage it but I'm sure it would show scratches from it after awhile. I'm just guessing though because I've never put my car though and automatic car wash that wasn't touchless.
Plenty of dealerships use them as well. For the cars that have the oil filter cartridge accessible from the top of the motor means don't have to get under the car at all.
I personally don't like them. They look too much like a stick on piece. I have seen them on some cars and they look ok but most of the time they're not visually seamless enough. Kinda reminds me of the fake hood scoops people put on anything. lol
I thought people went up in viscosity to remedy the tick not down? I went from 5w-20 to 5w-30 and i don't really notice it anymore. From what I've seen the tick is really just an annoyance not an issue.
It's definitely loud but I enjoy mine that way (Steeda axle backs and FP X-pipe). I live in a subdivision so I do cold start mine with the garage door down out of respect for my neighbors. Only in the mornings though when I'm leaving for work before 7am.
It's pretty painless. Just told Livernois what mods i had and they sent a flex fuel tune file to load on the tuner i bought from them and then load on the car. That easy. I was a little nervous filling up with E85 for the first time though because I didn't know what to expect. You just fill...
I've personally been running Blizzak Lm-32s for the past 3 winters and they've been awesome in dry, wet and snow. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the LM005s when mine wear out.
69% is definitely worth it. Can't speak on the A10 difference as my car is a M6 but I've been running a flex fuel tune from Livernois since June and couldn't be happier. Drivability has been great as well as the power increase throughout the whole RPM range. Even normal driving has been more...
I've been followed by other Mustangs a lot on the interstate. None that really want to race. Seems like they all just rev if they go by. Sometimes I rev back but not often. I don't know if they're saying "hi" or "mine is better". lol. It's always the Hellcats and ZL1s that try to get me to...
Thank you. The bottles are hanging on 1/2" iron pipe with elbows and flanges mounting them to the wall. There's 2 baskets on a track. Mine are a Gladiator brand from Lowes. Works perfect for making my cleaning supplies look organized.
The more minimal cover on the gen 2 coyote looks a lot better than the flat thing on the gen 3. It's almost as bad as the Hemi 5.7 engine cover. Without the cover the motor looks like a hot mess with hoses and tubes everywhere. That being said, I still took mine off. lol
