  1. Front driver's side suspension noise

It's only a nut on the ball joint end and a bolt on the other but realistically it was a little bit of a pain. If I'm remembering correctly I had to jack up the steering knuckle some because the sag put it in a bind making it difficult to remove the large bolt. After about an hour or hour and...
  2. Front driver's side suspension noise

Same thing happened to me on my GT. It was my front left control arm. I found the problem by jacking the car up and using a pry bar. Found play in the ball joint of the control arm.
  3. Steeda E85 Bullitt Tune vs Livernois Flex -- has anyone had both to compare?

I only have experience with the Livernois flex fuel tune but I've been very happy with it. When I was looking for a tune there were several I was interested in. I went with the flex fuel tune for the same reasons you listed. I like that I can see the ethanol content on the device and I just...
  4. 2020 GT Premium, what are you using for cleaning the dash and door panels?

The dash and panels are not real leather. You can use any automovite interior cleaner and be fine. Chemical Guys has a Total Interior Cleaner that works well and you can use it on anything inside of the car. Makes it simple.
  5. Knob misprint?

Yes. It makes the shifts feel a lot smoother.
  6. Knob misprint?

The weighted shift knob I use doesn't have a shift pattern on it. Gives it a nice clean look.
  7. Roush cold air intake system

I've never seen a cut one that didn't look weird and out of place. IMO it looks better with the cover off. Cut or not, it's an awful looking engine cover!
  8. Palm Beach or Livernois tune for the Mach 1

According to this chart, that makes sense and also implies the E content is high from the pump you filled up from.
  9. Palm Beach or Livernois tune for the Mach 1

Also, I think the low end torque is way more noticeable on full E. 3k RPM and under. I came from 392 Hemi's before this car and that was one thing I think the 5.0 is missing. A lot of low end grunt. E85 brings that feeling to my car at least.
  10. Palm Beach or Livernois tune for the Mach 1

Ideally you'd want to test it when you're filling up so you're not going to the station and buying a punt of fuel. The tuner will show E content as well. It's under Data Logging then guages. You may have to add what you want to that screen but E content will be shown under "PM"
  11. Palm Beach or Livernois tune for the Mach 1

You can run that flex fuel tune with straight 93, straight E85 or any mix of the 2. It will relearn after every fill up.
  12. Does the oil consumption issue apply only to the f150? Looking to buy my first 3rd gen coyote mustang but worried about all the issues.

I've put 70k on my gen3. Zero issues other than adding around a quart of oil in between oil changes. It's tuned and been running E85 for over a year. In my experience it's a great motor.
  13. How Functional is a Functional Rear Wing?

I can tell a difference in my MPG after installing the FP Swing and gurney flap on my car! It dropped 1 or 2 MPGs. I can also feel more drag on the interstate at high speeds. It is the best looking spoiler on a Mustang though!
  14. Rationale for choosing Ecoboost HPP over GT?

I think if you're comparing the HHP to a base GT, the GT will be cheaper but the 2 with the same options, the GT with the Performance Pack will be thousands more. With the HHP over the base GT you get a lot of features the base GT won't have. The HPP will be lighter and more fuel efficient. So...
  15. What color should I paint my brake calipers?

With the rear calipers looking so ordinary on the GT's I personally don't like them painted. Kinda reminds me when the red Brembos were starting to become popular on certain cars and people began painting calipers red on anything and everything without Brembos.
  16. How to you view your Mustang?

For me it's just a car. I love it and take care of it but it's my daily. Rain, snow, shine, I drive it. It makes driving to and from work fun. It makes weekends fun. Makes vacations to places we drive and not fly to fun. When I wear it out I'll get something else.
  17. Brembo Shelby Super Snake Brake Kit

Maintenance costs would skyrocket! Changing those rotors and pads will cost another $2 grand!
  18. Brake squeak at 4600 miles

Brembos are notorious for this. It's normal. My SRT Chargers did this. My GT does this. If you clean them it'll go away for a while. It has to be dust build up. A different kind of pad may help but I've always ran OEM pads.
